Awesome awesome awesome changes. Thanks Mineras and Holocron.

Do we know if /conceal will work against NPC's? Holo just said "enemies."

Also, I looked over in Scout and foraging all looks good, but nothing was said about rare item foraging being fixed. I don't want to sound greedy, but the two main pulls to this profession were camps and rare item foraging, and, lol, I'm getting a little impatient! I want to rummage through the foliage on Naboo, or the sands of Tatooine, and find something neat! I don't know. Maybe I'm weird that the whole concept makes me giggle in anticipation.

Very much looking forward to Ranger, now. Especially since I can stop having people in my group get attacked by kreetles because they don't have /maskscent.

Loving it,

Hey, does this mean that I can unlearn the Artisan junk? I won't be getting any points into that line when making Ranger gear?

You're gonna have to do a lot ofnerfinglaterif you actually give Rangers everything on that list. Half of that stuff is what wrecked EQ for other players.

Hmm, ive been playing everquest for 4 years as a ranger. I dont see how having tracking wreckedthings for other players. Druids also got tracking too but not as good as that of the ranger. Each class should have unique abilites like this.

I don't think the dude ever played EQ... or he didn't play it for long. Nothing about any of the Ranger changes ever did anything but improve EQ.

Wow!

I just like roleplaying a Ranger, even in the traditional fantasy RPG's.

These changes will just make me happier that I chose Ranger as my Final profession. Oh and Rilfeman to go with it. After all you need that long gun on Safari!

Holo, there seem to be two major questions here on everybody's mind. Could you please answer them?

1. Will conceal work on NPC's?

2. Will conceal work in PVP to any extent (even if at a reduced effectiveness)?

Thanks again for the update, and we all appreciate your time and effort you have spent to improve our profession. We can only hope you are this generous to the other professions in need at this point.

Aye thats right, although there were some zones where named mobs would wonder on the whole most were at static locations. And as you quite rightly say SWG is not EQ. Each planet has a huge enviroment to explore and you can hunt for hours without seeing another person.

I would like to see some rare mobs introduced though that have a chance of dropping a unique item.

One cool thing ive noticed too is that some lairs have tougher mobs that come out of them when they are destroyed. This has cought me by surprise a few times and is a nice touch. I still hav'nt found a creature that has dropped some loot though other than hides/bones and meat and hopefully some other drops will be added later. At the moment i think priority should be set to fixing bugs.

Rangers are getting a whole new trapping system. Instead of throwing their traps at a target like Scouts, Rangers will deploy their traps on the ground. Each trap will have a different kind of effect. Here are some examples:

Does this mean that the 2 present traps in Adv. Trapping (Flash and Sonic bomb) will be taken away ?

I use sonic bomb and would like to keep it if posible.

One Word - UNREAL

I love being a rifleman / ranger!!!!

Due to the upcoming nerf of the Rifleman;s Fabled weapons, the T21 (It did need a little but not what they are talking about) i was about to give up my rifleman/ranger,

not bloddy now!!!!!!

This is without a shadow of doubt the most excited i have been about this game since i heard of its actual announcement that game was under development!!!!!

Looks ahead to laying traps, looks ahead to ..... there is to much.

All i know is this, when these do come in, it will make it an elite profession worth more than just a title.

Now, to get my camp xp up!!!

A rifleman / ranger is now a true Hunter!!!

So to Holo, i say thank you for the ranger rethink (but take it easy on the T21)
