OUCH! that messes up my earlier example of Template Man and Master Ranger

MR+TM = 1.4*2y + 1.2*1.4y = 4.48y compared to 4.8y TM+TM get.

This is not going as well as planned .

Exactly!! Like I said earlier this is a bonus for grouping not for being a master ranger/ranger.

So now that we're all on the same page...

It seems wrong that a bonus is applied to those who are in a group with a master ranger but thatthe master ranger, despite being a grouped member, does not receive the same bonus as all those in said group.

Where in the world did you get that idea from? MR=100 creature harvesting, not 105.

To put it in perspective, even with a 50 point difference in harvesting ability, a master ranger only harvests 40% more than that of a master scout.

Like I said Arg0nus, we pay 110 skillpoints for that +105. Please do not take a skill increase we need to spend that many skill points on into account when discussing a group benefit everyone gets for free. They are two different issues entirely.


Edit for Kimi: He is probably at work, like me, and using the same template builder. It says Creature Harvesting +105.

what's the point of me grouping to give OTHER people help? I'd rather just hunt solo, if by grouping, I'm letting other people harvest MORE than me. if I have a Ranger with tracking 4 in my group, they're getting 40% boost, which is NOT covered by the extra I get from being a Master Ranger, even with the 20% boost I get for being grouped.

am I right in this?

Actually, you would get a 30% bonus because of the other player being a non-Master Ranger.
