Ha! I think "Hard-Rockin' Rangerness" should be our new mission statement or something. That's awesome.

And apparently I didn't read closely enough about the gilley suit (Yes, I know that's not the way to spell it, but I don't like the way it's spelled, so I'm protesting with something that makes more sense to my primitive, phonetic, hard-rockin' ranger brain), but I thought that it was just a sort of metaphor for our /conceal skill. I didn't know it was a real piece of clothing. That's, umm....wacky?

Sure. I'll think on that.

"the ability to use some combat special moves while mounted."

If such a thing were to occur, it would probably end up as a weapon profession specific thing (such as Pikeman receiving a special attack usable on mounts).

I would like to mention that the Carbine was invented for mounted combat

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.

Excellent Work N'Raas. You really impressed me.

Comments:

- With a hunting camp, the module that it stays up during combat should be automatic and not required any module slot

- Instead of tripwire trap, maybe we could have a throwable trap like a bola (string with weighted ends that you twirl around your head the throw at the creature to entangle them)

Thanks again for the excellent work!

More on the sleep thing

So, this will break combat? To throw a trap at something is to engage combat with something.. so if the trap succeeds, and the creature falls a sleep.. will the combat window just go away for everyone involved with the creature?

So basicly the creature will hit the peace button for itself and for everyone that it is in combat with... sound about right?

No, if the creature hit the peace key everyone would still be able to attack it, just the creature would not react.

If a sleep/tranc dart hit a creature playersshould have to hit peace manually and the creature would just stay still, not attack (unless attacked after the tranc) giving you and your team time to run. When at the right range and when the creature awakens combat will peace as normally happens when you run far enough away from the target.

I dont think this ability should be used to end a combat situation rather than create a time window that you and other can attempt to run and get out of range.

Also regarding this skill, a dot attack (bleed/poison) prior to the tranc/sleep skill should negate the effect of the tranc/sleep move to prevent abuse by /poison; /tranc; /run; /tranc; /run /loot/harvest. In other words you cant attempt to tranquilise the creature when it is bleeding/poisoned etc.

No idea, any suggestions?

I guess just the same animation as a smock with a camo design, lol.

"but yeah, wookiee rangers need just as much love as every otherRanger."

Aye, it is probably a moot point.

I will simply add a remark that the item should be wearable by Wookiees as well, and however the developers set it up is fine with me.

WOW....while many intems may never see the light of day...what a read. this is what I had in mind when I choose ranger (Since June-and still am....holo=yuck). Even just having the thought of such a ranger experience is well worth the time you put into this. Great job!

What I should do is come up with a different name for the camp that does not denote any particular action.

Any suggestions?

If the player does not peace out before throwing the trap it is possible that their auto-attack could awaken the beast anyways, so there is some strategy to the effect.

I will think on this a bit, as should we all.
