WOW!!! Thank you very much. Very informative for a Master Artisan that is about to drop it to do Ranger/Rifleman. Now if the Dev's would only understand that this profession should be beneficial to combat, we would be making progress

GREAT GUIDE!!!

Before the last patch (the mount patch), the best way to get Scouting XP was to go to Dathomir, group with a couple others (at least one with a tank) and get Kamurith Defiler missions. Six Defilers per lair that gave about 750 scouting XP each and with a 22k payout. And they have NO armor and NO resists at all, making them easy to kill. Their only downfall was the strongdisease they handed out if you got too close. But anyways, a friend of mine and I (and Ben, her Graul Mauler) were doing these easily. So I was cruising through the Exploration and Hunting trees in Scout while making a lot of credits (with just us two, I was getting about 11k per lair!).

But alas, the mount patch has made Defiler missions VERY hard to find at the terminals. I have to hit Refresh literally about 50 times before I can find one, and it usually isn't in the direction I wanna go.

Oh well... such is life. Defilers were fun though.

Man - I've been around for everything. The Baz Nitches, Kamuriths, Kungas, Snorbals, Nyms...all the fun exploits are gone. Darn the Devs for being good at their jobs!

thanks for the guide, i've mastered scout and marksman and am aiming for ranger now, this guide will probably be of a great help for a few pointers. cheers

Thank you for such an informative guide! I have the the stratagy guide your opposition refers to and it has nothing that your posts do. It sounds like he just wants to fight about something and used your posts start his childish little rants about what you said. - Advice- Just ignor him. He is not worth your time, or mine since I was trying to read informative posts and not someone just complaining about some one else. He was attacking you and didn't really have any intrest in the game content or helping other people and he wasn't seeking information- any thing else should be left out of the forums.

That was an excellent post, I am two blocks away from master scout and I have enough scouting points and Ap points to master scout and become a novice ranger after Trapping 4 and Survival 4. I can't wait, thanx for the good tips
