for future reference... it's GMT -7h... i don't think i heard of mountain time until i was 15... and i live in central time... (i blame the TV for only informing me about "eastern and pacific")...

had an absolute freakin' blast!!... the geo cave was great!!... mass death...

i don't think any of us could have taken obata for granted down there... he kept the whole place from falling in on our heads... three calculus dances for obata!!!

Thanks to everyone that showed up and helped in the mass killings across Yavin. I had a great time. The best part for me was that this was the first time I've ever seen the acklay. Every time I've gone before on my main server there is usually 5-10 people camping out down there so I never get the chance to see the ugly bugger.

Hopefully when all is said and done we will still be able to get a GRM going and wipe out planet after planet without much hassle.

Hehe yea, it was Awesome, all props to Oba!!

I was using a BE lvl 10 Gurreck for a While that I trained back when I was a Master CH. I'd say next to Combat Med / Doc its the most effective unbuffed profession. I remember going on plenty of runs using my Gaping Spider Recluse or a Rancor or Gurreck to hunt unbuffed.

Even still the BE pet was strong enough to take some decent punishment.

The GRM was a blast again! I think it was a fitting final event for some us (no, I am not quitting)!

you do realize, after you left i had a hard time finding anyone to poke fun at... it just wasn't fair, you abandoning me like that... i was just about to make some leezard joke and i looked up and you were gone (to finish off the cookiees, i'm sure)...

hehe, if you guys want to disinvite me from the next GRM, it's understandable... i have too much fun getting on everybody's nerves at those things anyway...

but... i had no idea obata was taking off... that's not true is it?.. say it ain't so, doc!

I'm afraid it is. As I've told Calc and Paks, you Rangers should consider yourselves lucky that the devs left your profession alone in the CU. Unfortunately they gutted both of my favorite professions, leaving me with nothing. I love playing a doc/cm and like to think I'm pretty good at it. I have no interest in playing a cleric/wizard though. My alt account is already dead and Obata has less than a week left. This GRM was my last fling. All that's left to do is finish giving away my stuff.

I fought like a dog for the devs to reconsider the design of the CU. All I got in return were insults followed by the cold shoulder. It was enough to convince me never to give SOE another cent of my money.

seriously though.. you are a great doctor and CM... and i think you would be in the CU as well... but i understand if it's time for you to go...

you will be missed... and not just for your constant healing and rezzing... but also... because you rip on calculus, and there can never be enough of of that...
