This year has been the most fun I've had in game, and it is due to two very special Wanderhome people. Thank you so much for being such a generous and fun-loving person. You have truly been a blast to hang with. Everytime I talk with you I have a smile on my face. You are an amazing person and you have brought a lot of light into the lives of your friends, even the purely virtual ones, like me.

I will miss... well you already know the list of things.

We will miss you.

The CU goes live on Wanderhome tomorrow and I have to say this is incredibly depressing. I see potential in the CU for good, but I have done alot of testing, and it is nowhere near ready for full Implementaion.

Still I love Star Wars and as long as its fun to play I will stay. I will decide 1 1/2 Months from Implementation wether or not to hang up my Ranger Hat (oh wait they never gave us one). I'm going to give it a chance, but I won't play something thats no longer fun if that turns out to be the case.

Obata was one of the best people I've known. Hilarious on Teamspeak, amazing in-game as a doctor/cm, and a great presence on the boards. It's sad that we lose so many people to poor designs and half-finished "upgrades".

Normally, greedy Bothan that I am, I'd be asking for a handout on his way out. Unfortunately, I may be taking the long walk away from this game myself. I haven't had a single moment in any of my testing that can be put on par with the amount of fun I can have on Live, and I've exauhsted myself trying to get things to change. Some of them did (Ranger got Combat Level). But for the most part, the continued focus of SOE on attracting new players with flashy updates over making a game people want to KEEP playing has gotten to me.

I haven't decided yet, but my account expires May 9th and I'm seriously considering not renewing. It's just...this...close. I'll wait it out...but there needs to be a serious turn-around soon.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

I can honestly say that it's been people like you and Calc who have kept me playing for this long. Our guild ended up being a pretty small group, but our playstyles meshed in a way that just isn't found everyday. Though I have truly loved this game, I would have stopped playing long ago if it weren't for the friends I've made. It was very sad for me to log out for the last time just now, but it was also somewhat freeing. All of the stress and anger over what the devs are doing to the game is gone. I hope all of you find a way to have fun in the new SWG, I really do.

Oh, and if anybody needs some money on Wanderhome, Tash and Calculus are now rather wealthy .

Just to make a reference to one of the thing that I know Paks will miss: The money I gave to Tash and Calc came from my wife's rich husband.

/salute Rangers You're a great group of people. I think it's somewhat fitting that my only goodbye thread on the SWG forums is here instead of in the doctor or CM forums.
