What was the town we started in on Lok for the GRM2? I thought that had something to do with the WE guild?
Yeah, I was kind of thinking anything but Corellia.. low spawns and not much excitement. Tatooine would be good though.. Tuskens, dragonets, Ronto, bantha.. some decent mid level stuff and pretty heavy spawns.
Plus, it might be fun running across the desert from the western Dune sea to the Eastern dune sea.. Finish it all up in the Krayt graveyard with a massive sacrifice in a send-off to the pre-CU area and large groups.
(Not sure if it'll be the Krayts or the Rangers who are sacrificed...)

That was Death Valley, which is no longer there. That was never the WE city, but a few of us used to hunt out of DV quite often.
There are some good player cities on Lok that would work well for starting a hike though.

Ok...I say we start at the Yavin 4 Mining Outpost and head towards the Woolamander and Kliknik Temples! We will be unbuffed except for a few 'key' personnel. Get in the RIN Channel if you need help getting there.
I am excited about this one (as always)!

ROFL
well, I didn't get any screenies tonight (I don't think) and I was late, late arriving (Dr Who on the TV here, no competition, sorry folks).
But the little time I was there, between my ISP cra**ing out, a client crash, dying and accidentally cloning, then thinking I'd manage to get back into the Geo cave, unarmoured, unbuffed and with nothing more than mask scent to save my bothan butt... well, it was fun
)
Thanks folks, as ever it's the Rangers (and Doc) that make the GRM's special.
SO it just remains to /salute Obata, give the compulsory "can I have your stuff", thank him for countless buffs and rez's over the past year and to say to the rest of y'all I guess I'll see you around. Other than finishing a little camping on WH k'en and a box of rifle XP on Bria ken', I reckon that's pretty much me till after the CU.
all the best,
Ken, k'en and ken' (Yeah, no imagination me, lol)

More original than my Kimi, Kimi' & Kimi'
Yeah, I had a lot of fun on this one too! Big /salute to Obata!!
For those that couldn't make it, I'll put up some screenshots soon.. We ran on foot and cut a huge swath of destruction from the Yavin MO, to the woolamander palace, to the blueleaf temple, and ended up running through the Geo caves.
Obata's buffs ran out just as he had the acklay down to 5k mind.. He only got incapped, but then a kliknik ran up and DB'd him and we lost our doc and headed back to the MO cantina. Not before our last two rangers killed the Acklay though, and looted bone! /cheer!
Also, I got some woolamander hides if anyone needs them.
It was a small group.. just under 20, but it was lots of fun and I went from Tracking 1 to halfway through tracking 4 in about 2-3 hours!

hehe yea that was fun
I was the only one Unbuffed that made it out sort of alive (Torath). I had to use one of the Chargesof my Hero ring, and of course I wouldnt have made it out without Vacren /salute
