I'd settle for a DEV posting on our Forum that went something like this:

Rangers: We understand there are issues with your profession. We like the ideas you bring to the table and are looking into how they can be implemented. Please communicate a top 5 ISSUES / BUG list that you want fixed pertaining to your current specials and skills, and we'll prioritize those for tentative release over the next 5 publishes. This should be communicated by one of the Correspondents in the next 10 days. At this time we aren't able to allocate resources for a REVAMP, but we remain committed to fixing the current bugs so that the RANGER PROFESSION WORKS AS INTENDED.

Now, let me pull out my crack pipe so I can imagine this is really going to happen.

Manners and being polite only go so far for me.

When I"m ignored, pushed aside, overlooked. I stop being polite, I dont' become even "more polite"

By the way, I'm a reasonable human being and a former officer in the military. If I kept my troops in the dark, I would have had a mutiny on my hands as well. Even the lowest private needs to know the plan.

Stonewalled Silence from SOE is the root cause of my irritation. Communication MUST be a two way street, and IF SOE would communicate with us, the customer, they would certainly maintain a larger player base.

Well, that's up to you. But not being polite won't get you anywhere either. So...why bother letting them get to you?

You guys are way to negative. SOE is a business, and where they prioritize their time is based on income. Do you really believe a Ranger revamp will draw new players to the game? Will people stream over from WoW and EQ2 just to be a Ranger? No, Jedi and BH are the drawing factors right now, so it's logical they get first priority.

anyway, if you want to be angry, feel free to be. But please, don't ruin this forum with it, okay? Don't try to incite anger among others. It's really bad for other people to come in and see this. This is exactly the kind of stuff that makes people not want to read the Jedi forums, believing that somehow we should be the top priority, and being angry when that doesn't happen. I'm done here. You two want to be upset, it's cool, but I'm not going to keep trying to cheer you up when all you're doing is complaining about something that nobody can change.
