Yes it will be sad to not see you posting in this forum.
Jumping to conclusions and basing stupid arguments on incorrect facts and sometimes out and out lies seems to be a general trend on all SWG boards as a whole, so a little of it creeping into the Ranger board is not surprising, I myself get tired of reading it let alone trying to educate the people writing it like Calc has tried to do.
We all hope to see you back and posting in the future Calc

in all seriousness....calc, stick around bud. my computer is more borked than I thought (looks like it's time for a new graphics card...which REALLY sucks).
I've drawn my share of critique and crisiticism, I've made enemies with people on the forums too. You and i see eye to eye on a lot of things, but it's not always the case. Remember that no matter how people are acting, they're motivations are the same as yours. They want to enjoy the game and they want to enjoy the profession. There's nothing wrong with that, as far as I can tell. The way we choose to express ourselves is often bad and I myself have been known to do things that your list points out are bad.
I feel for you, I really do.I know that feeling of frustration that comes when the only thing in your head is "why is such a simple concept so hard for some people to understand?". But that's no reason to forget all the wonderful times here too. The Ranger forums have been bad what? the past two months? They were great for 14 months before that and there are still a lot of good times to be had.
Being a former corr, it's gotta be really tough, because people do tend to center around the "leaders" whether for or against their idea. People who are well known also tend to polarize people on an issue. It's sad but it's true. But we need level heads right now and even while one voice may not be enough to silence those who choose to be unconstructive (no finger pointing here!) it's important that that voice exists. for there are those who wouldn't normally post, but when a strong voice on an issue stands opposed to stupidity, will join in. One strong voice can't beat a thick cloud of irrationality (or bad spelling) , but it can draw other voices into the fray. We need you, Calc.
plus, whenever you get depressed, just think of a line from Republic Commando: "Yeah! Wookiee Life-Debts for everyone!"

Ok, now his melee defenses are down, shall we use adhesive mesh to try stop him this time?

I'm with ya bud. I AM one of the ones that has been around since the NRaas days. Seen me post lately? I left this community long ago. Still a MRanger, but have nothing to do with most other Rangers out there. Just tired of the "Neo-Rangers" who have no clue what they're talking about when they talk about Ranger.
