And being edgy becuse of the CU is no reason to troll. Yeah, I said it. There is a lot of trolling and misinformation going on here. Owen has assured you he is waiting on word form the devs, and all many of you can do is...well, see my first post for that list.

Calc you and I have not always seen eye to eye, but I have stated repeatedly that I have nothing but the greatest respect for you and the job you have done. I would also request that you not leave. You, Owen, Paks, Agon and others keep the now stirring waters of this forum somewhat calm.
Owen has pointed out that there is only so much someone can take. I agree. If you still wish to leave we cannot keep you from it, but you are still needed. I would also hazard caution for both you and Owen. The Ranger community has long been the standard bearer for conduct in any forum, however, there is only so much someone can take. Some long time Ranger's are very upset. We are one of the three red-headed step children of SWG along with Smuggler's and Squad Leader's.
Yes I have been known to post a couple of scathing diatribes in defense of our profession, but I am being as calm as I can. Others feel the need to express themselves differently, and we all need to take that with a grain of salt. We all love being a Ranger, and therefor are entitled to express our frustration in how we see the Dev's handling us. Like Yoda said "Control! Control! You must learn control!"
Stay with us Calc. Do what you have always done, and filter out the garbage and take the good content and do what you can with it.

Sorry man...you can't compete with those people. They refuse to hear you. Hell, half the posters want Recon armor becuase they like the name (and, understandably, Scout Armor). They refuse to acknowledge that it will hurt you becuase it is weak to the type of damage that Rangers face the most. Unfortunately, these are the people representing our profession as they are the loudest. How do you compete with that?

If I didn't respond to the garbage, I would never get to post! I may be back after the swill that the CU brought goes away (no, I am not saying negative views are swill...as I have said, it's how you present yourself).
hmmm, we definitely have our differences. but times like this, bring out sides of eachother we hadn't been exposed to before. everyone is stressed. everyone is dealing differently. But you say you will be behind the curtains, still fighting the fight. so that is good. You definitley are a valued, highly respected member of the Ranger Communitity. /tiphat

thanks. I've said it before and i'll say it again, i'm not an eloquent arguer. just not my style. I dont really even have the patience to write some to the great proposals, and posts you guys do. But when i see my community, being ignored, and left behind, i have to speak out. and until we get a post from a DEV, any damn DEV saying 'hey, yeah, we see you, we read your concerns' i have to assume we are being ignored.
I live by 'Expect the Worse, hope for the Best' and that's what i'm doing. Im not just gonna sit back and say everything is goign to be okay, because there is a chance it wont be. and people need to be prepared.
On a positive note, far too many of you are PMing me with happy sentiments! You may change my mind (I am afraid to hear from Paks tonight...she may kick my butt)! Well, maybe not...GAH! Others of you had your PMs deleted before I even read them. See, how could I do that with a clear conscience if I was still in front of the scenes?

LOL, no, the secret is that Rangers will be GODS on ROTW.
Each of us will get a tribe of Wookiees to tend to our every need.
