Stop trolling, marsirison. One of your threads got locked. Don't do it again.
Read the last sentence. I didn't want the qoute to come out that way but it did because I pressed the wrong draft to submit.

Big, big difference from Stim-D's.
I get inured, slap a stim on, it makes me better. I feel I've had my money's worth.
Likewise doc buffs, I get a set of enhancers applied by the doc, I know they will last n minutes or until I do something dumb abd wind up on the cloner floor. So long as the docs buffs last as long as the timer said, i feel I got a good deal, value for money, etc.
Now, Archie Tekt buys a stack of cammo off my vendor. He slaps them on, walks 50m from my house and a kreetle breaks them. He can't reapply right away (if the old timers are still there or cos he's now in combat) gets eaten by the beetles.
Now, who do you think he's going to be blaming for wasting his money?
If doc buffs vanished the first time something aggroed on you, how many times would you buy them before realising that you were on a hiding to nothing?
Likewise, if you didn't know how well that stim-D was going to heal you, because of your combat level or some other vague variable, would you be so willing to buy it?
Giving non-ranger players the ability to do something that is the preserve of our profession is just plain dumb. Still, it seems to follow the pattern for stuff ingame now, everyone should be able to do everything, there can be no losers, there are no consequences. It's only 'fun and challenging' if it's carebear simple and sluffy safe.
Thats how it works now. Lets see how effective it is in TC. If its not then there is nothing to lose as all would be status qou= No one will buy it, no one will use it and no one will make it.
Oh, and crafters can't use stim D's. If camo is effective then there would be only that option that will help us against mobs, PSGs against NPcs.

Because nothing we do makes a difference. THAT is the life of a Ranger. Come back when you've been trying for 2 years.

So why don't you head over to the TC /bug it and make it better, stronger, longer lasting whence applied by rangers?
Sean, no.
Remember when the harvesting changes came in?
We all got out butts onto test servers, gatehred information, got actual stats and then they were presented to teh dev's?
If it's still on TC then there is a CHANCE to change it.
Get the facts, present it to them, at least TRY.
If you try it might change, if you don't try then it will stay the way hey are trying to implement it.
If you don't try then you're accepting the change.
Without feedback from the test centre the dev team can dismiss ALL of these posts as mere speculation, the sky is falling panic mongering. Unfortunately they lst our trust a while back and I'd expect no better of them than to go "Well, nobody said anything during the test so you must all be happy..."
Meanwhile I'm STILL trying to download a 90Mb freaking tre file for patch 17. You'd think they didn't want stuff tested sometimes...

I am a ranger, not a merhcant!
If camo is improved and made extremely potent, i can see Rangers becoming a FOTM, not to sell resources, but to sit at startports barking, and selling camo buffs.
After some thinking, i feel that this change is just sickening. And undermines what we as rangers, stand for.
Come on guys. I've read every post here, and every negative one I've seen is full of doom and gloom. Let's look on the positive here.
Rangers have another opportunity to make money.
If camo breaks every five seconds, crafters using said camo will add their voices to Rangers to get it fixed.
More people will know about Rangers and their problems.
I think this is good news. And if you're not a merchant, how do you sell all those hides you collect?
You know, every day, this forum is becoming more and more like the jedi one.

First:
I've not been hunting for months... yes MONTHS!!!
Last hunt was somewhere in Jan or Feb. By request by some people to get them resources.
Made enought credits to have fun and fiddle around helping others with both CH and Ranger.
Again.. I'm NOT A MERCHANT. Nor do I want to be one.
And like this one looking more and more like the jedi forum... I now think the Devs has stirred up a beehive they can't control, after batting it irregularly. The bees now have become fully irritated and will sting.

Owen,
Crafters asked for a class level, not much, maybe 10 per crafting mastery. Just enough so that we don't get insta-capped by mobs 2-3 levels higher than us and have time to run away. Barring that we asked if rangers could apply more effective, longer lasting buffs. In other words just fix the rangers current camo system so that it will be worth it. I
Instead they decided to make camo kits useable by every one, which is their way of saying yeah we can't fix it the way you want it so we'll just make it so everyone can use it. Same thing with weapons and meds.
We didn't ask for it but its there.
We didn't asl for class levels either but its there too and we are affected such that the devs probably felt that in order for us to survive then they must bother other professions such as yourself.
I'm sorry you feel that way but if I had one wish I'd rather have the old pre-cu as well but you know it will never happen.
Instead, perhaps you can ask them to enhance your camo system in terms of stregth and duration. I personally do not care if we use it ourselves or have a ranger apply it to us.
Its a service or instrument just like PSGs are that would enable pure crafters to last longer in the wilderness.
You asked for it. You even bragged about it on another crafting forum. Go back to your bridge, Troll. The Three Billy Goats Gruff are waiting for you to begin the story once again.
The story of your demise.
