This is, as I said before, ridiculous.

Lets start thinking about how much we're going to sell these kits that need 100+ resources for.

In case you didn't catch it earlier, I'm a casual player. My idea of fun isn't spending hours to gather resources, to craft cammo kits, to sell them... for less money than can be made running missions in less amount of time.

Good luck with you cammo kit business.

If they are anything like the camping kits no one else can use them... AND I believe the kits require /conceal to activate. There will be no market, and I'm not buying one sense I can make them.

- Well, each to his own. I'm sure those Rangers who have the resources (and have some Survey skills to boot), will gladly make camo kits and sell them on the Bazaar (hint hint).

- Those of us going casual hunting on a foreign planet can simply purchase a camo kit off the Bazaar for the night.

- Your other option is to go without... It worked before, its not like they made the planets harder to compensate for camo kits.

- Yes, the only market will be other Rangers.

- However, there are other Rangers who don't have the incentive to create the kits. As the kits are difficult to create, there should be reasonable demand for a would be supplier.

- Anyone know if the kits are Factory Cratable? Do they keep their charges when crated?

- I knew Chefs were having problems with charges and crates, but that was resolved this patch.

- I'm sure therewill bea market for crated camo kits, for Rangers in large groups who don't want to stop and craft20 kits every twenty minutes.

Would other rangers buy the kits if I sold them?

I'm a Master and i can go to dathomir and make 100 kits so when all you guys get to master you wont have to make them yourselves, would you buy them?

"Would other rangers buy the kits if I sold them?"

- Depends on whether the convenience vs. cost is there.

- If the items are factory cratable: then 50 items with 6 charges each, weighing only 1 unit in your packmay indeed be a reasonable item for any Ranger.

- Especially thoseon a long hunt or grouped with support staff that don't want to be aggroed by every little Krayt dragon that walks past.

----

- As for me. I intend to provide my own camo kits, en-mass. I have Engineer (see the sig), so harvesting is not an issue... And I have enough cash for a factory deed, so I can pump those babies out.

- Maybe I will sell them, depends on how/if the market develops on my Galaxy.

Has anyone else testing the duration of these kits?

I just tested out a Tatooine Camo Kit and it lasted a whole 16 minutes and 4 seconds...

Thats incredibly disappointing given the amount of resources that go into them! I am in the process of testing another to see if the time limit varies, but I would also like to hear results from anyone else as well.

It's not a matter of not being easy just that according to the manual and other sources rangers are supposed to be self sufficient living off the land and at the moment those of us without artisan cant make the camo kits without having to trek to some city to buy the materials. Maybe fixing the forage so you could forage for something specific would be ok ( just a little slow as I still get one item at a time )

I think the resources coming from the target planet would be just fine if this concealment was effective. I think it's the ineffectiveness that is the real problem. If you walk from one city to the next you'll need a minumum of 50 kits, that's how often it breaks.

Why on earth would you run from one city to another?

Buy a ticket for 200c, sell the resources to pay for it and about 100 trips and save yourself about an hour.

People rarely travel beyond 2000m from town, when they do there generally is nothing out there, no mobs NPC or creatures, nothing.
