No vulnerabilities
HAM is in the 450k range.
Aggressive: H3ll yes
Stalker: No
Tamable: You got to be kidding
Deathblows: On a thought
Ferocity: You ain't getting away
Difficulty Level: Not you, or 20 of your friends have a prayer
Special Attack 1: Unknown Attack, but it hurts like a mother...
Special Attack 2: Force Strike, 'Nuff said.
Base To-Hit: Always. Again, you ain't getting away...
Damage: OMG
ROFL. But, honestly, this guy doesn't seem much different than a krayt. HAM is slightly higher but resists are significantly lower. I think the damage is a bit higher as well. As long as you have a good tank with high kinetic resist armor, you should be fine. I've actually had people tank krayts with NO ARMOR. That was impressive. Knowing that, I'm sure there are people who would have no trouble taking one of these down.

Our buffed and armored master swordsman was getting killed repeatedly though.
What sort of armor and buffs? And were they one hit incaps or was there time for healing? As it is, swordsmen are not the best tanks out there. They are nice because they can do a lot of damage, not because they can last forever against anything (that's why you see so many swordsmen/doctors--they get the damage of a swordsman and can counter the lack of defense with their healing abilities). A fencer is a much better tank but they need damage support to really be effective on anything with heavy armor. On small stuff, a swordsman can easily kill it before it can touch them. On larger stuff, the swordsman will need healing to keep going. As long as your swordsman was able to take a few hits then that is expected. If these were one hit incaps then something was odd.
Hmm I dont know about that, ive seen an ancient krayt dragon with a little over 500k HAM.

I was talking about the normals. The Ancients areanother matter entirely.Heavy armor and 95% resists down the board. They are quite hard to kill. The normal ones are a lot easier (65% resists and significantly lower HAM).
I had just gotten my CH levelto 2, 2, 1, 1 so I decided to go to Endor to get me a Bloodseeker mite, Boar Wolf Ravager, Merek Assasin and a few Cowerdly Gurrecks to sell. I was scared, I knew Endor was a tough place but I was determined to get my new pets. I got off at the smugglers camp and cloned then set off wandering. I was amazed at the difficulty of the creatures but my mask was working great.
The first pet I tamed was a Merek Assasin, it was a very tense moment as I had tried to tame a blood stained assasin moments before and it aggro me and I quickly dispatched of it, scared the adults would aggro on me. It took me about 10 tries to tame the animal and I was sweating bullets the whole time, taming this creature was one of my best expereinces in this game.
Finally I found my way to the Maurauder theme park so I figured what the heck. I was surprised hours later I had done all of the kings quests, gotten a full suit of Maurauder armor and only had one scientist quest left. He told me to go a kill a Gorax. I had heard of these before in passsing and knew they were tough, I lookup in my handy Prima guide and saw, good lord it was CL300!!!
While at the camp preparing myself, there was another person there, RUDEBOY from the PA Blood. I asked if he wanted to see the Gorax and perhaps help me fight him as he had a fully grown Rancor, much stronger then my still half grown Grand Wrix. He agreed and we left.
We finally got to the location and I spotted him, he was intimidating no doubt. I examined him and saw he had fairly low resists but HEAVY armor and over 300k HAM's. My companion exclaimed GOOD LORD. I asked if he was sure he wanted to try this, I was unsure myself. We agreed though and sent the Wrix and Rancor in. While they were fighting I him him with a Bleed 1 and 2 shot then fired away. Unfortunately the mighty Gorax had Acid resists. It amazed me how quickly the Gorax was chewing through BOTH pets I knew it would be after me soon. I peaced and started to burst as he aggro'ed me. I got away but my companion was not so lucky, he was incapped and DB'ed.
I felt sorrow, I knew how far the walk was from the cloning center. I was ready to call it a nght when I saw our combined effort had taken nearly 9k from the beast, we could DO IT. I asked if he wanted to come back, I would wait. He said he would.
When he arrived he gave me a Graul he had in storage, much more effective than my Grand Wrix and we healed the rancor and attacked again. We burst ran when they were dead, camped healed em and repeated this tactic several times. Also in his rage Gorax attacked every creature in sight, nearly 20 families of Blurgs andBordocks lost their lives defending their nests. Finally after much undue stress to our pet companions we felled the monster. I was amazed me and only one other person had DONE it and beaten the second hardest opponent in the galaxy.
My rewards were small 2000 CH xp, 3656 Pistol xp and 365 Combat xp. But seeing the MIghtly Gorax gored and eaten away by my acid shot was reward enough.
It was then I found out that RUDEBOY was a Rebel and I being Imperial we, two foes at opposite sides of an issue, were able to put that aside towards a larger threat. He even gave me the Graul in addition to the Cowerdly Gurreck, Merek Assassin and Boar Wolf Ravager I had already tamed. We parted ways and I proceeded to get myself killed to clone. This was the most fun I've had so far in this game. I took a few screen shots as proof to you and trophey to me, enjoy.

Pets were better but we only had 1 Graul, one Rancor (Neither could call more than one) and one Grand Wrix
Gorax tore through them like tissue paper anyway
