"Yellow means the item is being considered or actually will be implemented in future build?"

Yellow means we gavethose itemsto the developers in the last Top 5 report... Nothing more.

The Red items are the ones that I about being"in the works". As you can see however, there are no items that I know about, at the moment.

I like Imperial Gansta's points

No, you are not the only imperial ranger

I'd like to cast my votes for just a few points...I'd settle for these as a start...shouldn't be too tough should it?

1) Camps that allow BF to be healed (high-techs only?). It will give an incentive for entertainers to get 'out of the house' (cantinas) and join hunting parties.

2) Camouflage to be CAMOUFLAGE. The idea of overhead name tags (which might as well be flares sent up in the night) to be invisible or appear at a much reduced range to other players would be fantastic, plus the otherincidentals like radar dots either not appearing or appearing yellow as an animal would.

3) Of course, the area track difficulties straightened out.

Just feedback that doesn't date back to August last year might be nice.

bravo, Nraas, bravo. I just finished reading your outdoorsman article, and it was fantastic. In truth, it does sound a little overpowered, but at the same time, it does add an effectiveness lossed by not being able to have anything other thanone higher level combat class (such as TK, pistoleer, ect). I say that only because of other classes like bounty hunter and commando that requaire more expetise to use and gives those players the kind of power in PvP the we DESERVE in PvE (and they earned their power too, so I'm not whining about their abilities). And the camp with the modules......BRILLIANT! That is exactly what needs to be done not only to make rangers a NESSASARY part of any serious outdoor exsursion, but also give insintive for other classes to delve into the outside world and walk away from strait classes (all crafting, all combat) and stress the importance of teamwork. The one and only part I felt was lacking was an added defence bonus to things like posion and desiese, and if it was there I missed it (sorry). But overall, it was written with the true spirit of a role playing game, and an expert of all things in the outdoors. Scrap this thread, the devs need to get off their butts and read it! Just for grins, maybe add at master ranger the ability to WEAKLY (because we don't truely deserve much more) use only the surveying devices we need and POORLY sample reasources. That kind of implimentation would serve only to show us where we can put things like harvestors up, as any ranger worth his or her salt should be able to to have the funds to use such an instalationfrom missions and selling reasources. For a ranger to be as elite as that passage suggest, they would need to incoperate a LOT of inorganic things inorder for it to be pheasable to constuct. Not having that ability would be fine too, as mastering 3 classes leaves just enough SP to buy novice artisan and even get surveying 1 (thats me, a master TKA and master Ranger and people with similar templates). Actually, I dare say thats a common template for rangers, and if you never thought about it, there's a freebe forall you rebel scum! BWA HA HAAAAA (just kidding, chill out man!) But really, I have nothing more to add to it and I would say any ranger thats been ranger long enough to know all it's pros and cons would agree that those would DEFINATELY make being more than a ranger with tracking II worthwhile, and make us more elite than a simple, puny, completely DWARFED by our ubber 1337ness (had to throw thatin to be a lamer) skills. You rock man!

what the hell is up with this forum?? have you guys really not noticed that the devs haven't changed anything in ranger since the beginning?Swoops bikesnow make Terrain Neg a mute thing, traps suck, skill points for the profession are way out of line for what you can actually do, camps are really a joke anymore unless your tryin to pull a swoop out,You harvest maybe twice as much as a BH who got scout by accident on the way up. Come on guys! someone say something to the devs instead of them fixing all the combat professions who have been whining about themsleves cause the can't pwn each other daily.... please tell me ranger is gonna get some fixes soon... because i reeeeally loved bein a master Ranger.(and would like to again)...but im afraid im gonna have to keep it dropped till they can give me some fun.... (i.e. pvp!!! --or more advantage in pve.... maybe some more harvest? or camp things to do?) who knows...but this kind of thread needs to get answered... badly

We like Ranger the way it is. We don't want it improved and are going to tell the Devs so. Don't waste your time coming back to Ranger.

Please.

C'mon Dwolfe, you cant tell me you don't feel increadibly gimped! You've spent 2/3 of all your skill points mearly to pitch tents that are only good forhealing extramly bored peopleand are only really needed to hunt Kryats, and you don't want any changes to this great concept of a class?! You are a disgrace to us all! I may be taking you too literally, but even if the broken things were mearly fixed, you would have still mastered ranger for nothing!!! You suck! Why don't you drop ranger and become a template stacker like the rest of the freaks that can't handle not having an excess of combat skills! Go join the cub scouts and leave this class of kings (and queens)of the outdoors while we patiently wait to be of some REAL service in the GCW. Tell the devs you don't want changes.......your mad!!! MAD CLAW!!! MAD CLAW!!! LMFAO!!! I bet your not even a ranger, just some weirdo that wants ranger ingnored so whatever you are gets beefed! The ONE real conduit to the world and it's practically useless and you say it doesn't need improvement?! Maybe you should go back to grade school arithmatic!!! The SP cost doesn't justify the abilities the ranger gets. Go home with your wild notions of not changing ranger!!! You're not welcomed here, atleast by me!

"have you guys really not noticed that the devs haven't changed anything in ranger since the beginning?"

Since the beginning? I presume you mean the beginning of September, or whenever they added /conceal and /areatrack. If so, then yes... We have not seen much action lately, considering Player Cities, Vehicles, and Mounts were the Powers That Be's top priority for the last five months.

"someone say something to the devs instead of them fixing all the combat professions who have been whining about themsleves cause the can't pwn each other daily"

Aye. Fixing the combat professions is definitely a top priority. It affects almost every player (including those of us who have a weapon profession aside of Ranger), and therefore has a wider appeal than fixing ourhumblesection of the system.

There will be a time when the developers see fit to turn their gaze to us once more...

Until then, be content to get the small things fixed. You are a tad late to join in on the Outdoorsman proposal, but we're always interested to hear what you might have in mind to improve our profession. The SotP awaits your ideas.

If not... I bid you adieu, until the next time you decide to join us here.

"an ability to combine traps?"

Aye, that would be the modular trap idea of ages past. The currentincarnation of theproposalis a modular ground trap system in the SotP.

ImperialGangsta.. Your lack of ability to grasp so common a concept as sarcasm, and your instinct to flame away when you've got no clue as to what is going on has just dropped you into my "ignore all posts from..." file right next to -targus-.

Thanks for playing.
