I ate a cookie yesterday.
I think an equal, if not greater, amount of people have been posting that they are leaving as those who are just now joining the profession, just to find out that it is not worth 140 skill points.
I'm still here, still Ranger, still waiting for... *scratches head* don't remember... What was I waiting for again?
*wanders of, mumbling something about "revamp"*
Wooow, it's like 2:33 am here, and still people are posting?
Hehe, I need to remember the time zone thing.....

Is it me or are a lot of non-rangers posting here more?
Also, I see less of the regulars as well (JB, Cyros, Calc, etc...).
Seems a littel quiet in Rangertown I guess.
Although, there are lots of new Rangers speaking now.
Just my thoughts (such as they are...)
New faces = good. We need them otherwsie we just wind up listening to the same people posting over and over.
Would you rather I posted with my Alt account?

Rather see the new faces and new ideasthan a small packof bitter oldsters posting the same things over and over. At least the new faces have a chance at bringing us ideas that we hadnt thought of before.

Lol...I haven't seen a new idea here (including from the youngins for a year now! Not even yours is unique (merges and deletions have been brought up before).
I made master ranger six months after release and rifles after that. In that time, I have also mastered board lurking. Though I very, very rarely post, I do keep up to date on discussions here. There has definitely been a decline in activity here. At least it seems that way from my perspective.
SOE has left rangers to languish without attention, yes. But it isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be. There are several other professions that are in equal need of attention, smugglers and squad leaders being the first to come to my mind. Does our stuff have a lot of bugs in it? Hell yes! However, I still find that many tricks of the trade are still useful and that's good enough for me to keep trudging along. There's no point in crying about the broken stuff knowing full well that SOE isn't going to come rushing to soothe our pains. Those of us who are still rangers obviously find the profession to still be enjoyable, otherwise we'd have dropped it by now.
