Thread: Visitors to the Ranger Forum

Well I didn't expect it to happen, but I took the opportunity to revamp out of ranger, which I found quite upsetting really . I tried ranger in the combat revamp, and for many reasons of which a technical explanation doesn't belong in this thread (but it involved not depending on mission terminals and actually having some practical application of creature knowledge), the ranger "game" wasn't the ranger game I'd enjoyed, and worked so hard to be part of prior to the revamp.

So, I respec'd to a pure defence stacked ranged template (MBH/MP/0440Carb/1444MM/4010Scout), simply to have mindless fun until such a time that I either decide to cancel my account or Ranger got it's revamp. However, I'm really happy that we have a "token revamp" because I can now save that token, and if Ranger gets fixed before I take my business elsewhere I can get straight back into the game, with minimal grinding (as opposed to no grinding because I doubt they fixed the elite skill point bug that ranger had in the repsec-period).

Still ranger in my heart.

I didn't use buffs or uber armour, so why did the combat revamp have to spoil my game?

Dear Iseult,
I'm afraid what you see as a lack of reading comprehension is actually a simple lack of interest

Don't take it seriously, it's just funny watching you trying to wind me up.

Anyone else notice how Iseult side-stepped the trolling question?
*snigger*

Don't mind me, I'm just in a slightly hysterical mood today.

LOL - that's cool - I did side step the trolling question, but I had this thought:

1) trolling might not refer to the mythical creature that blocks bridges, but instead the practice whereby one drags a line behind a boat in hopes of a nibble
2) if the above is true then....
3) I truly am a master .....

OK - I just flew to CA today, so I'm going to check out the new patch and then sleep....

Is it me or are a lot of non-rangers posting here more?

Also, I see less of the regulars as well (JB, Cyros, Calc, etc...).

Seems a littel quiet in Rangertown I guess.

Although, there are lots of new Rangers speaking now.

Just my thoughts (such as they are...)

New faces = good. We need them otherwsie we just wind up listening to the same people posting over and over.

I would like to second Fulton's reply. I too went straight to Master Ranger/Master Rifleman and have never dropped the Master Ranger tag. I know a lot of old schoole Rangers have dropped the Master Ranger and put the points into other things.

It is good to see new visitors. We should not expect to see many new Master Rangers although who cares. Those who keep Master Ranger do it for the lifestyle.

I am having fun in the CU and just wish we could have a Ranger hat quest on Kashyyk.

I've been lurking in here for the past week or so. I'm not a ranger yet, but I will be soon -- scout 4433. I also just made novice rifleman. I'm on Chilastra.

Owen has definitely earned a place in #1. As for you, well #1 is definitely out of the question (lack of reading comprehension skills sorry), and you need to make a lot more "poop" comments to join me in #4....

You forgot #5 Rangers who wander so far out into the wilderness that they never visit the forums.
