I don't charge and frankly kinda look down on who does, and since i got the majority of my skills within first 3 weeks of release (i played alot then, decreased as work switched from pt to full, and the intital magic of game left). So alot of my skills i payed for (my whole trap branch, 3/4 track and wayfer, 1 fronteir, and for ch, i paid for about half of the 2,3,2,3 stats). So i have spent quite a bit of money on training and even then i don't expect payment. If they tip i am happy and respect them even more than just due to them being a ranger, and if not i am happy to help a fellow ranger along.

Im with most on this.

I dont expect to be tipped, however i do tip 1k per skill when i am getting training. (its always good to get it back though, shows a general respect for the person you are getting training from)

Im like a few others as well, maxed our on App Xp, so i dont need it. I do get alot of /tell during my game time but i simply reply with

"Is there anyone else around, i havemastered my apprenticeship requirements so there is nobenefit for me to train, someone else will need the valuable apprenticeship experience, see if they can train you. If you cant, let me know and ill be more than happy to train you. May the Force Be with you"

Its not rude, well i dont think and it seems to work for me.

But always if im being asked for training, i will expect that they come to me! Vice Versa if im getting training (only rifle to go) then i will go to them, only fair!

I never charge, and i don't expect tips. If they tip me i keep it and thank them. If they don't tip i just tell them to enjoy thier skill and pass the training on too the next ranger in need of training

I never charge for training. It's a good way to make friends andI find most people are good enough to tip a few creds for your time. I do agree however that they should come to me. The only exception is if I'm in town tickling Tortons at the spaceport.

I always train for free.I've neverbeen forced to payfor training from another player (but I usually tip), and I like to carry that gift forward.

No charge. However I tip well. I found Chilastra is light on master rangers, and though i've found a few, its hard to coordinate with them.

So, I have often met up in spaceports, or run 5000m to meet with a trainer.

I will also offer to pay shuttle fare or starship fare if i'm off planet and cant get away from my group to get much needed training.

Still need wayfaring 3, hunting 4, and almost ready for wilderness 3. Currently on yavin. If your on, let me know. Please?

Only time I charge is when I know it's a BH looking to train the Tracking line...and even then only 1k per. I did the grind to Master on my own and paid the NPC for 99% of it. Only reason I charge like this is I've run into so many people dissing Rangering on Tempest it's starting to get me peeved. On the other hand, I've run into a lot of polite ones, and many who honestly respect the class. To those people, I hope to see the master title on you in the future. To the BH dabblers, shove off...getting sick of being treated like a throwaway class.

I never charge and i never train Imperials or Bounty hunters, ever. I could never conciously train known murderers and slavers or people who condone that kind of behavior, not to mention every imperial i've ever met is rude, mean, and selfish.

If they're going to get it anyway, they might as well support the Alliance while they do so. I charge them the NPC rates and they save a trip to the trainer. Heheheheh. Rebs get it free though.
