AMAZING!

I was about to unlearn my ranger skills until I heard this. Great fixes, wlthough unoriginal. At least they could have called the RANGER skill TRACK something different than the RANGER skill TRACK in everquest. It almost seems like they are balancing this game by introducing things we were used to in other MMORPGS... a step in a GOOD direction yes, but some more original stuff like lure would be cool.

This is GREAT news and as a 4/3/4/4 Ranger, soon-to-be Master Ranger, I am very excited!

I do have one concern though. My concern is that other characters will dabble in ranging simply for the tracking and that will make the Master Ranger entirely useless. I would suggest making Master Rangers at least 50% more effective at tracking than those that just go up the tracking line.

Agree maybe they should balance this skill out across all of the ranger tree, that way any dabblers can't just scream up one line.
Personally I'm a fan of spreading out the bonuses across a tree. Prevents Cookie Cutter Hybrid's (bh + ch combo anyone,)

Sweet!!!!!

Wayfaring: Great change, Maybe this also should get a name change?

Frontiering: Excellent, UmmmAny info Foraging for RARE ITEMS?

Tracking: Nice, A /Lure or /animal call command would be nice, but maybe that should be a CH thing (or both).

Advanced Trapping: I know those are only some examples but sense they are all ranger/range weapon friendly I will ask that you don't forget that there are some ranger/melee players.

Thanks for the great work.

Very encouraging news, well deserved improvements to a prof. that requires the master of a minor prof.

OMG!

After all the waiting and agonizing, seeing such a response is truly wonderful! Thank you for listening to the cries on this board and for such well thought out ideas for the profession.

Finally reached Novice Ranger status last night and I am very glad to see what is forthcoming.

Whoohoo! My ranger friend won't feel so ineffective anymore. He was really losing faith in you guys.

These changes are exactly the kind of thing you should be doing. Good work!!!!

Ranger is not a profession. It's a lifestyle.

OMG!! Am I dreaming? Someone pinch me please!

I just attained Master Scout last night and will be a Novice Ranger today. I can't freaking wait for these changes. This one change alone will make SWG worth playing maybe even beyond EQ2. Finally.....THE BEST MOVE SWG HAS MADE!

WOW! I've been working on ranger for the past week, wondering if it's going to be worth it. Now I see that it definately is!
