Thread: Player Cities Update

Since last saturday(Nov 30)our cloning facility has dissapeared. It still shows up on city taxes. Furthermore, we cannot store clone data there or insure. If you die near our town you clone where the center should be, only its an empty field. Not only that, but we are stuck with it like that since we can't put down more than one in town. Hope a dev see's this.
Not sure if this post belongs here at all, but...
I died defending our city from a declared Imp (I was declared Rebel). I also /citywarned, /citybanned this player. He killed me, and I wanted to see if my rebel petswould finish the job, so I closed the clone window. I then stood up where my corpse was laying, healed myself, and began fighting again. No visit to the cloner at all, just sprang up where I was, and was still overt Rebel. I got the decay message, however.
Must not have been my time. ![]()
Ok sorry for being redundant but after looking at my last problem report about my city I gathered some more accurate info.

City Name: Backwoods
Problem: Our city hall had been sliding for a few days, on wednesday I was in the town hall and halfway through it I would get the leaving city message. Onthursday I checked back in to see what had happened, and when I logged on Ifound the hallto begone, along with out city, mission terminals, and everything in the hall itself.Ivefound the cords of where the city hall used to beto be -2766, -3351, because after walking around, I can still hear the fountain I had inside. We had about 15 people (not much, but enough to be a city).
This is now day 4 of not having the city.

Issue: Our City center and its borders drifted about 50m or 60m east. Now i am worried about my citizen, hospital and cloning center, which are on the westside of the city. =/
Another attempt to get a little bit of support. It is now day 4 of the same problem, the 2 other cities which are closest to us that had the exact same issue had it resolved by CSR same dat. **edit**?!?!

ISSUE: Mayor receieved no XP from yesterdays votes. We tried to get CSR to look into it yesterday only to receive 3 seperate times the form letter stating how sorry SOE is and please wait till the patch. Well the patch has came and went and guess what, the exact same problem is still there. We even tried to explain to the CSR to please look into this only to be told to wait. Please investigate this and correct the issue, please no more form letters of empty apologies and please waits.
I'm so mad now. We got a response from the CSR today which said according to their logs our major deleted the major hall since only he gets the option to do so! I mean w.t.f. 5 Ppl can swear that he wasn't even online till later that day since he was at work. And there was NO POSSIBLE way for him to delete the hall.
I guess thats just their basic answer, like sorry according to our logs... have a nice day and thank you for playing SWG.

I want to thank Plinka and the Politician Correspondent Forum for doing such a great job in helping us identify the cryptic black hole thats been threatening your cities. The center of player cities is migrating slowly, but only about 2 meters every 48 hours. Some cities may experience some very minor voting dips this next cycle, but they will be minimal.
The solution for this is on Test Center now and will be fixed in the new publish early next week.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but this shouldn't have any severe effects.
I know I'm being an arse here, but I thought early in the week meant Sunday through Tuesday.
Here goes again. It is now day 5 with no response yet (
Why even post a message saying to post the info here only to ignore it all, seems like a silly waste IMHO but who knows it all might just be part of the SOE disservice agreement.

Tombra has drifted another 10m in the past 48 hours, 8 of them last night alone. Currently standing at -3082 -0. 29m to Hall loss.

I realize that today's patch was supposed to alleviate the drifting problem and from what I've been reading is has. But what about those of use who's City Halls have just plumb disappeared from the face of the planet (Rori in my case)?
I put in a /bug last Sunday about this and have yet to hear anything back.
I've seen you guys talk and take action on the drifting problem and I think that's great!
But I haven't heard a darn thing about what the Cities (New Rwookrrorro) can do or hope to do when their City Center just up and disappears!
Any thoughts on this? I'd LOVE to get this resolved before the next election period takes place.
Thanks,

well my city was fine and not drifting but seems there was a 50m permanent offset that when they "fixed" it by centering it blew up my cloning center. and now i cant replace

Would be nice if player cities that lost structures or their whole town knew what was going to happen to them.
It'd also be nice if we got some answer on why the Exp for politician, already given to us TOO sparingly and in a terribly weak method, is NOT coming in properly, if at all.
Also be nice if we had, oh I don't know, player cities that worked like they were supposed to work.
I hope you get an answer, but cant' say I honestly expect you to get one.
