Logged in thursday afternoon to check the city treasury, the city had been drifting for a few days (no cords because when the city hall vanished my waypoint got deleted). When I logged in I saw that the city hall had drifted outside of the city limits, thus killing the hall and the city

I didn't read throught these posts but? maybe your city has less then the 10 needed because of the shift and it hit update? I've yet to hear of a shift of over 25 meters and a hall would be at least 150 meters from any edge.

Oh my god this is gonna stink because my town has not wiggle room to move building right or left. when the circle moves past house we will just have to suffer and prey we dont loose everything. Please let your csrs know to plan to pay the extra upkeep for buildings untill this is fixed if towns downsize.

TH, please see this thread concerning cloning centers for player cities:

Removing Player Cloning Centers from the option of closest cloning center is a BAD idea.

Thanks!

Our City Grew This Morning, Saturday!

I haven't spoken to our mayor yet, but Kimo on Lok, Lowca server, expanded to Rank 4 City this morning.

Thunderheart, if you did this, you have my heartfelt thanks, along with the thanks from the 58 citizens of Kimo.

SERVER: Radiant

PLANET: Tatooine

CITY NAME: Mos Krayt

ISSUE: Mayor receieved no XP from yesterdays votes. We tried to get CSR to look into it yesterday only to receive 3 seperate times the form letter stating how sorry SOE is and please wait till the patch. Well the patch has came and went and guess what, the exact same problem is still there. We even tried to explain to the CSR to please look into this only to be told to wait. Please investigate this and correct the issue, please no more form letters of empty apologies and please waits.

Thunderheart, can we have some feedback on the removal of /citywarn? I know you don't ordinarily respond directly to "petitions" but the overwhelming majority of players in these forums, as well as players I've spoken to online, and the general population of Mayors, strongly oppose its removal.

The fix to cloning-center griefing should correct the overall problem. Removing /citywarn is going to ruin the whole idea of cities for most of us.

I wouldnt say we think this is trivial. There is a different perspective from what devs see and what you see and its my job to bring those two persepctives. If you bring the information to me, I will bring it inside, which I have.

Im looking into each of these issues now so I can get you some information. Ill post as soon as I have something concrete.

TH, with all due respect, you do not seem to understand(which i fail to understand considering you use to be a player) that it has taken three weeks to get to the point it is at now. The money that the players have themselfs invested into the cities is going down the drain, i understand you all want money sinks but for some of us we can not simply go out and kill a Krayt and then reap in the wealth of its treasures. money doesnt flow like water unless you go out and find your combat cash template or your crafter cash template.

IM posting the information on our city again so maybe someone will look into this problem. It has been 3 days and this problem is effecting 58 PAYING players! I would like to at least receieve some sort of response. This doesn't look very good when SOE is ignoring a problem which is hitting so many users at the same time. It seems the problem is so bad that the CSR's have gone silent, we don't even receive the standard form letter any longer. So here is the information on our city for the second time. Is there anyway at all to get a little support or help on this? Or basically we are screwed because this was not tested pushed to production in a hurry and now CSR's and SOE don't want to deal with the outcome or what?

Again mind you that this is going on 3 days now with no fix, no contact from CSR, no help from anyone at SWG.

I'm truly hoping that SWG is planning a re-imbursement to all these players that are being negatively impacted and are not getting any kind of response or aid. It seems only fair that since SWG can not provide the game they have promised this month that we should receive credit for this month that SWG is not providing the game experience which has been promised, it only seems like good faith.

Just another SWG customer getting screwed over at every corner.

Oh yes...This was such a HUGE problem...OMG its a good thing you guys addressed it when so many other much BIGGER problems exist that you DEVS are actually creating. Funny I didnt see near the posts concerning this as I do about ./citywarn.
