Apologies if these have already been mentioned but I haven't seen them:


1) Unable to remove militia members unless they are near City Hall. I still get the message that they are removed from the militia if they aren't nearby, however, when I check the citizen list, it still says "(militia)" next to their names. This is a HUGE one for my city.


2) Edit- removed this one as I found it in the list.

A few very annoying things:


1) Theres a guild house in my city that belongs to a player who was BANNED for some credit hack/bug that he was using. Before he was banned he managed to stuff millions into the guild house and it currently has enough cash in it to keep it active for about 9 years!!! There are no other guild members and noone has access to the building. I want it out of my city but CSRs have told me they cant remove it unless they get persmission from the player who owns it...


Can someone explain to me why the CSRs cannot grasp the simple premise that a banned player CANNOT LOG IN AND REMOVE IT, GIVE PERMISSION TO REMOVE IT, OR REFUSE TO MOVE IT????


2) Very much related to the first problem. When i enable zoning rights i cannot give anyone permission to build, i get the message, "You need to be the mayor or a militia member to grant zoning rights" Non of my militia can do it either... so the city has to be set to allow free placement of buildings.


3) People have placed structures in and around the city before i took over. Many of them dont even play anymore. Why is there no way to remove these structures from my city!!! I dont want an instant destroy, but cant a mayor pay a fee and declare demolition notice giving the owner 2 weeks to move it or it gets deleted???? Something, anything to get rid of structures that shouldnt be there!


4) The whole capped city size thing stinks... You should be able to get the majority of basic buildings (cantina, med centre, shuttleport cloning facility) in a size 3 city. Allow the more advanced structures in a size 4 (Theatre, hospital, vehicle garage). And allow some really impressive structures in the size 5s (A starport like the ones on dathomir for instance.) And you shouls also be able to see how many city slots are open at different sizes... im still not sure if my city can get passed size 3!!!

Not sure if this is in here, but it is a minor annoyance to me. When viewing the citizens of the city from the managment terminal there doesnt seem to be a way to list them in different orders.. Alpha ascending or descending. Would be nice to be able to sort them. I keep a friends list and its a pain to compare the 2 side by side for accuracy.

hello, we have a city on corellia named zamunda it is on the ahazi server



and we were almost to city lvl and i (shaggs) was about to be the new mayor when all of a sudden th e very next day the entire town was gone all that was left was houses and the cantina and the med center



it was due to the fact that the owner of the city hall deleted his character and that erased his house and everything he was tied to including city hall, all decorations and other buildings



when i contacted the good ol customer service they go oh man im so sorrry about that, nothing we can do



even though i was supposed to be mayor that day i have to toally redo our city from the ground up


that costs alot of money and i got donations from the city thank fully we are starting to rebuild but its really sad whne the main people who is here to help in the game cant do a $$^#^# thing that is total injustice

Ya, it is a shame when a mayor wants nothing to do with the city anymore, threatens to leave and delete their character and nothing you can do.


It should, just like RL, auto mayor the one running with the most votes and start the voting over... or at the very least put the city in a suspended mayor position till next election. But does it realy supprise you that SWG came out with a system only half done?

The politician decides to buy the city a Theater (why?) at the cities request, the city responds to his removing funds from the treasury to do so with. "WHY ARE YOU TAKING FUNDS FROM THE CITY TREASURY I PAID FOR THAT?"


Fortunately my citizens are cool people i hunt with ona regualr basis etc.


Issues that i feel need to be addressed.


City tax emposed upon non citizens who benefit from the bonuses of a city. -Ie., Increased Job market. Since changing our city status to this Tons of people have been arriving to run misisons because they pay better, most of the recent arrivals are all NON citizens. I would like a way to tax them or Ban them from use. Can we impliment this in to the mission terminal itself so it autopays the city treasury?


City ban - needs to be changed to be able to force people outside city limits. not just deny them the ability to shuttle in.


Pardon - should work from anywhere a mayor should not even have to see someone to pardon a banned player that makes no sense.


Recruiters - Master politicians should have the ability to bring in a factional recruiter. Seriously look at Restuss and Narmle they both have recruiters why can't we?


Insurance and cloning centers should be taxable just like the shuttleport.


BE trainer - it's been months already can we please get an answer on why the hell we can't drop these trainers? Pathetic excuses are a joke at this point this should be hotfixed by now.


Bazaar Terminals - I would request we have the ability as a city to join the galactic market and get bazaar terminals so we can place items on the bazaar from our own city.This too should be taxabale to the city treasury.


Junk dealer - i would like to be able to recruit Junk dealers and or drop them.


Admin list - i would like to be able to grant admin rights to someone on the city hall for decorative purposes. (How long has this been a request?)


Politician Income - The politician should have some form of income for their profession.


Master Politician - What is the benefit and point for wasting the app and Skill points? suggest reducing the fee's of the City maintenance at this level as an alternative Massive reduction similar to Merhant vendor reduction costs at master merchant.

Nothing new to add to the list, I have experienced most of the issues described in this thread. The bigest issue for me is removing players from the militia, I have one that has not had a house in my town for 3 weeks and is Mayor of their own town. Two questions I still have though... Does the incumbent mayor get xp if the citizens do not vote? What does the remove zoning option do from the city terminal?

Olepi u are finally the only one of these posts that i have any true reckoning with. Maybe i have been lucky but hte bugs you have allmentioned have happened to me and militia. Yet we have wroked throughit, a little patience seems to have wroked out. The militia do get their rights if they us the icon rather than the /grant command. I heard there was a command which gave players a TEF within city limits, but has been removed. This is essential command, and city ban should give players a TEF within city limits, and open their property to destruction.

Ive mentioned paving on different forums, perhaps a simpler version would be to just automatically within say a level 3 city, (we are 7 from metrpololis currently ) The radial flora options were all automatically set to zero, thus giving a flattening effect to the city. Whats most annoying is that politican does NOT count to wards holo proffesions, so I have wasted 75 skill points mastering somthing just for a badge, I for one, cant wait to finish this proff, and dump it for the social problems, it leads to with organising things, and being accused of being a busy body when sculpting a town to be proud of.

1) Mayor is unable to move the shuttleport, destroy it only remove terminal and droid, and give you shuttleport deed.


2) Mayor should be allow to place more than 1 shuttleportor clone center in a city. It'll avoid us walking 800m to go from clone to shuttleport andwill bea new money sink.

Technically this is not a bug, but it's not right nonetheless. Last week I decided to buy some street lamps for my city. They cost me 500 cr each which seemed like a fair amount. When I checked up on the city maintenance window I found that these street lamps each cost the city 1500 cr a week in maintenance. That's more than half the weekly cost of a small house, which to me seems to be somewhat out of proportion. In real life I doubt that street lamps cost more than three times their purchasing value a week to maintain.


I love making my city beautiful (using the limitedwaysthe game offers for doing so) and Idon't mind paying for it, but that is just too much.

I know this has been said, but...

1) Allow the mayor to remove militia members when the player is offline or not within the city hall.

2) Allow the mayor (maybe at master) to level the ground within the city limits allowing for more space.

But if I had to pick between the two... I would have to go with #1.

I first would like to sayI am also very fed up with this skill the lack of information made available to us has been un-acceptable having to guess and to not be sure whats going on for a profession that other players are dependent on. I would like to say that I am a very organized person and I have run business and supervised large groups of people in my life and my abilitys as mayor in this game are dependant on the information and tools I recieve from my superiours (the devs) so I would really like to apologize to all my residents in my city as I can only do what I can with what I have and the lack of information and the bugged skill problems with this profession make me un-able to provide all my citizens with proper representation and as all of my fellow mayors realize the development team wishes to do nothing. For a game that is designed to be run by the players in the game and the poltician's are intended to oversee the function of player citys we as mayors are un able to properly do the job the citizens are expecting us to do this is a fixable issue we need to be impowered we need to have our skill fixed and until the politician skill is fixed this game will be nothing more than a bunch of people running around making things and killing stuff basicly "anarchy" so I implore the developers to adress the politician skill as soon as posible because until we are able to actually run these city there really are not any player citys and just a group of random people who built house in the same spot with a little fluff and who knows how many people I dont? Do you the developers? All the bugs listed in the forum have occured to me luckly I was prepared enough to have around 50 million credits before starting this city and we ask no taxes so many of these bugs we have avoided.


One final note if you remove something from your city like a street lamp you need to go into your inventory and choose remove again this works but it needs to be the exact same item so be careful dont remove a lamp and sell it as it will register as a item in your city (I think?).


I hope this post is not deleted and that all may read it and see that we are not just talking about one persons skill that needs to be fixed here I have only 45 citizens but they are people "real people" that put pride into what they do and I would like to give them the city they deserve and I can not so the disfunction of the politician skill affects alot of players and should be in my opinion a top priority in your development strategy.
