Now that the CSRs have been instructed they can indeed reimburse lost XP I got all 2900 xp back today.

Will try andappease the angry Citizens. I hope they don't revolt!

Praeclarus - Corellia - Sunrunner
Please be more specific: It took 8 hours since the city timer re-started?? It took 2 hours?? It took 24 hours??
My city is a full 24 hours into its new growth spurt... I have no XP.
This was cut from an actual conversation from speaking with a CSR. No part of the conversation has been edited or deleted in any way.
ArodaKhan: Anyone have any Idea on why I didn't receive any politician xp from the most recent election (that was done last night)?
[PM from CSRJohnE] Just submit a ticket and you'll get the xp
[PM to CSRJohnE] I did
[PM from CSRJohnE] If it happen last night they will get to it
[PM to CSRJohnE] is there an avg. turnaround time for it? I have a lot of people bugging me about it. (citizens)
[PM from CSRJohnE] about a week
[PM to CSRJohnE] I understand that a week is an estimated time due to all the other csr tickets, but I may not be mayor then and our city busted our butts to get the appropriate amount of citizens to advance and place structures. Thats a bit long to wait for earned xp.
[PM from CSRJohnE] There are other people in line ahead you
[PM from CSRJohnE] We answer tickets on a first come first serve bases
[PM to CSRJohnE] I thought this bug was fixed? Any idea on why it still exists?
CSRJohnE logs off...
Ok, my promblems / questions are:
1) When we do finally receive our earned xp, will this keep happening and us keep having to wait a week later to finally get it?
2) This does not just affect the politician who did not receive the xp. It affects the city and everycitizen in it, due to the fact that skills can not be trained and new structures that were planned for and strived to achieve will not be able to be placed due to not being able to train the skill required.
3) I understand there are others in line, and I would never ask to be placed ahead of everyone. However, I do feel that there needs to be a better way to address this since it's affecting so many players who are taking pride in this new player city feature. Since so many people are being affected, this should be being addressed in a more timely manner and with more importance.
4) And I know this one is far feetched. But if and when I receive my xp is about the same time for our city to re-elect. I may (or may not) be the mayor when I get this owed xp, which leaves a chance that it could be even 2 weeks before I can put the newly trained skills to use. And would this be capped at the supposed 2k cap? I surely hope not.
This is by far the most frustrating thing I have encountered. I did obey the CSR and submitted a ticket before this conversation took place. I guess all I can do now is explain this to all 40 citizens (no I don't have as many citizens as other cities, but just the same. We all have the same goal.) and to have them all send me tells of frustration which I understand them.
Just thought I'd let everyone know exactly how this is being handled.
They have capped politician XP. Too many cities with gardens, terminals and cloning centers whould hurt the database. ![]()
