Thread: 22 votes and no XP
I could almost understand no response since Thursday (due to the devs not working over the weekend). I can't undertstand why we've had no reposne today. Not even a "We are working on it - please bear with us".
Very, very disappointing customer service. ![]()
They have apparently no idea how to run a support organisation.
They need to learn how to communicate with the SWG community, to cut down the number of tickets.
CSR should put up a forum for announcement and such, like.. "We have this problem and we are working on a solution"
People get frustrated when they dont know whats going on.
I'd suggest logging a support ticket and refusing to close it until a satisfactory solution is found. A CSR telling me that they WILL NOT help me (note: they didn not say they can't help) and telling me to close the ticket is unnacceptable. When the issue is resolved I will close the ticket and not before.
Here's my third (and permanent until this issue is sorted out) ticket on this issue:
I've been asking for a reply for four straight days on the SOE boards now as to what the status of the Politician Xp bug is and, to date, there hasn't even been an acknowledgement of the issue.
GreenMarine admitted there was an error with the code over on the official forums. Here's what he had to say:
"In the mean time, please contact a CSR. They have been given permission to review the problem in the log files and update your city manually. Anyone else experiencing this problem can contact a CSR, but note that we will be hand checking the log files to make sure you had the required number of people at the time of the city update."
A CSR on the support chat said that all people affected by this issue had to log a ticket. What gives? I'm getting completely conflicting advice from different support personnel. ![]()
Can you feed back to someone at SOE that the player communities affected really need some sort of update on this? This bug is affecting 50+other players on Farstar directly and not just me. I have no real issue with bugs - I've played enough MMOs to know they come with the territory. I'm just puzzled at the fact that different facets of SOE's support organisation are saying conflicting things abou this issue (or worse - saying nothing at all).
I'd like to understand why CSRs are checking log files to verify information related to bugged Cities on some servers but have been told not to on farstar. Is the assumption that all the bugged players are potential scammers? Or is it not considered an efficient use of CSRs time to fix one bug?
Could you please verify GreenMarine's comments before asking me to close this ticket. Every time I close a support ticket I get some new and conflicting info about the problem.
I thank you in advance for whatever assistance you can give me.
Adding myself to the list of Politicians who did not get XP. I had 23 citizens when it ranked everything went through fine except I did not receive any experience. Personaly I can understand it if there was a bug and they are working on it, but what I can not deal with is the thought that they have a massive bug effecting a large amount of the player base who receive XP from a fixed system, and they are saying they will not give us XP even thought they set a prescedent by giving some politicians XP. Its not like we can just go out and hunt for our lost xp, it is detrimental to the whole concept of growing the city.
Please Devs address this issue and make things right. You cant just put in something like this then screw us over.
*watches tumbleweed drift slowly by*
Obviously this issue is right at the top of SOE's current issues affecting the player community.
Delight Tenretni,
City: NeoenD
Citizens at time of update: 32
Experience received : 0
Ticket Number:1276575
They refunded your experience TODAY? After everyone else seems to be getting the 'we have been told not to refund' line?
Why oh why oh why can't there at least be some consistency. ![]()
Oh well enjoy those skill boxes bartlebee at least someone had been made a little happier ![]()
Would mentioning the many other ways we CUSTOMERS can spend our money every month get anyones attention ![]()
I find this appalling I have to say. I've never ever complained about poor service, as I know what it is like dealing with customers having worked in sales. But this is just beyond belief.
