A thought about income tax.... Why does it charge people income tax that dont have an income? :-)

My biggest complaint is that people are allowed to grief every resident of a city and it is considered griefing to force the griefer to move.

My 2nd biggest complaint, why do gardens and such say, "Imperial City "cityname" on the overhead map, but yet we can do nothing to ban other factions from using our city.

/citywarn needs to come back... Just because we killed a CSR, they remove it...All they needed to do was increase the time for them to leave the city limits... And CSR's should have enough power to stop someone from killing them...

(Annoyance) Not exactly a bug, but "income tax" should be renamed to "citizen tax" since it is not linked to income or net worth, but is merely a flat amount paid by all citizens.

I have a good one on the taxes:

One player who owns only a house, no income. 2k, yes 2k in taxes in one week.

Another player who has a house, no income. 2 credits in a week.

Oh and people who don't pay taxes at all, or alteast the no email about it.

I don't play SWG because it is a game. I play it because it is Star Wars.

Bug: Players periodically get kicked from the Militia, and need to be re-added.

Bug: Items destroyed by the city being short on the maintenance fees are sometimes still listed as being assets of the city, and are charged.

Pet Peeve: Citizen Tax caps at 2000cr, and I'd like to see this raised to at least 5000cr.

Cities that are destroyed due to lack of treasury for four weeks are not removed from the maximum number of cities planet cap. Anecdotal evidence from others indicates that they may not be removed from the rank caps either.

guys, please stay on topic and posts strictly *bugs* in here. When I show a dev our bug thread and they see complains, they're less likely to take this thread seriously.

we're trying to address your second concern in the GCW thread, so if you have any suggestions please do so there. JEST3R and TH are aware of the thread, and we want our discussion to be concentrated in one place.

please guys... no suggestions, no ocmplains, please only post bugs in here. discussions are for all the other threads in the forum *except* this one.

I posted this on another thred also

Bug with /cityban

Here is what happened. We have 7 imp structures in our rebel city. (Player A for this point)

PlayerB comes to town and gets /cityban'd

Player A transfers a structure to Player B

PlayerB delcare residency

Player B is no longer /cityban'd and you cannot /cityban him because he is a resident

Here is my take on it

1) A banned player should not be allowed to have a structure transferred to them

2) A banned player should not be able to declare residency

Using the /movefurniture command in a tat cloning centre (might work in the others too, but I only have the one city) results in the object benig warped into the "Garbage Chute".

Placing two decorations on top of eachother is allowed, but once done neither can be moved or removed without CSR intervention. (For example, a round fountain on a round brazier looks very cool. But you're stuck with it.)

can you give me more info on this, or can someone else confirm this? I live on a server where city cap isn't a problem, but I'm willing to travel for observation

Faction Terminals do not show up on the overhead or planetary maps... also aren't listed in /find .

This makes them very hard to find.

  • Can't add or subtract anybody to/from the militia list unless in city hall (not sure if this is still the same => unverified)

  • Redeeding shuttle port leaves chasis of shuttleport behind - lets you "harvest" shuttleport deeds (exploiting?) - shuttle resets on serverdown and is sometimes (?) taken from the city maintenance (verified - but some time ago)

Here is another one for ya...

When a Player City Shuttleport disapears due to falling to level 3 or below, you can cuntinue to fly INTO that shuttle port for several weeks before it finaly disapears off the travel map. We had a level 4 city near by our level 2 (at the tiem). It fell below the citizen requirement and the shuttleport poofed. We would then ride to wherever we needed to go but to come back we could buy a shuttle ticket to this other city and fly in. We would joke about being thrown out of the shuttle with nothing but a parachute and good wishes. O and we had to watch out for the tree that grew where the shuttleport use to be. It was quite funney.

  • They recently changed it so that militia can be dismissed at any time from the city management terminal even if the militia member in question is no where near the location. As far as adding citizens to the militia while they are not present... do not expect this any time soon... I think it is related to how guild members can only be added when they are near the guild management terminal... the server has to like send some code over to the avatar from the terminal or structure and it cannot do that if the avatar is too far away.

    I think.
