/sing...I took over for our mayor who just quit playing all of a sudden, and we we're lucky enuff to get the needed people to vote within a week, but these comands should exist...its just silly...

Another idea would be to make all citizens votes count as abstentions as soon as another player runs for mayor of the city. This way, the player with the most active votes will win and the inactive players would vote for neither candidate. With only one player running for mayor, i.e. the incumbent one, the current situation may remain unchanged. This change of the abstention from voting only appears when a new candidate wants the job and might be even easier to implement than the resignation.

I hate petitions, and whining, etc. But sign me up as a whiner and complainer now. Same old story here. Our politician wants out. City works are frozen as he has dropped the entire profession. We have our new mayor ready to take over but the inactives are killing the vote. The new Mayor is even the old Mayor's alt. He has sent tickets to CSRs but they were unable or unwilling to help out. So, good luck all in getting this done. I think we are resigned to destroying what has been a very good city.

same story as everyone else...new mayor can't get elected because of inactive players in the city and our current mayor has left the game.
