Thread: News Flash: Planetary Caps Leaked
Ugh... I would far prefer most cities be on the starter planets than on Lok. I will now have to go to Dathomiror Endor to avoid the sprawl.
Yet again this just shows the lack of imagination the developers hold.
Wouldn't it have made much more sense to have capped the number of certain LEVEL player cities in something similar to below:
Any number of City Halls and, therefore, city zones (although city zones can't overlap .. so although there is no actual "cap", there is still a limit of real-estate).
Only 10 cities (on main worlds) can be labelled on the planetary map and gain a shuttleport/starport

My PA actually moved off Tat since it was going to be swamped, and this makes me expecially glad we did so.
The 'griefing' of player cities has already begun. We set up 8km from a starport and 2km from the nearest player-owned building. Within a week another group started planting buildings and harvesters all over the place, ruining the planned layout. We either "deal with it", or move everything again.
Well, before you start yelling griefing, get some facts straight, as I've already talked to Kahnal, so at least the two of us knows where each side is coming from.
The first house of either PA was placed by me, and yes, I'll agree one house doesn't claim a spot, but dont' make it sound like we just started moving down, cause we didn't. We already had a house or two in the area.
Second, a few harvestors is BM's, but not all of them. You have neglected to state the fact that you are a rebel PA that is making a city less then 2K from the imp outpost on Lok. You being there has upset a few other PAs in the area.
And the only member of BM I know even remotely griefing you is a former member of yours, which when Kahnal talked to me brought his name up to see if that was "our problem" which it isn't.
Take it elsewhere.
Good news
Iam glad they are capping them, although the caps look a little big to me.
I thought that the "player" correspondant was supposed to be on our side to and project the voice of the players. That does not seem the case here. Seems like something the players do not want is being accepted by the correspondant.
We need someone to fight for us.

This is great news, this will help deter people from having private personal cities ( which is a very good thing ) fewer cities means that PA's will be hard pressed to retain control as more and more people move in to the limited number of them.
Great news! This will help player cities feel more real. I love it!
Besides, 10 more cities on Naboo than already exist sounds like a whole lot to me.

There's only so much effort any of us are going to put into making our cities happen. We'll move to Rori if we have to, but we keep getting griefedwe're out of here, I know it.

Sounds like trolling to me. Why would it be a good thing that 90% of those who want to be involved with a player city will never get the chance? The big PA's will get hold of the cities, either by being first building the halls or taking over halls placed by smaller pa's who fail to secure them properly. After that there will be no more fighting over who runs what city. No one else can build new cities though, so those not in a city will have to join a pre-existing one and accept having to vote for whoever he is told to vote for.
