This is happening to us as well.
Here's my data:
Server: Intrepid
PA: Tyrenian Rebs <TYR>
Guildsmaster: Malcolm Ca'Kre (me)
Known guild changes: About 3 weeks ago, we completed a guild election (electing me as guildsmaster), followed by a guild name change operation.
Known dropped guildies: Sneaky and Machalas. Both had left the guild at various points in the past -- one to join a new guild for a while, one for a long leave of absence, from which he returned last night.
Known other changes: I removed the old titles assigned by the previous guildsmaster. One of those titles reappeared at the same time as the guild disappearances.
There were no emails about guildies being removed.
We have not been able to attempt a re-sponsoring yet.... I got the word that something was up from our own guild web page.

Same thing happened to me yesterday and we tried to get me back in to no avail. Will try again tonight.
Also, this has happened twice before to two different members in the past week or so.
Very strange.

No. As soon as I hear anything I'll let you know. Anytime I get new information on it, I pass it along to the devs. It hit my guild a few days ago so I sent in some first hand experience with it as well.

Now that you mentioned the private hall thing, that happened in my guild too. The person who was removed could still come inside freely even though he wasn't displaying the tag. That might give a little insight on the bug. Thanks for that, i sent everything you said on to the devs.
I also have a question for anyone who has a member who got removed and has *not* been re-added yet. Now that we know they can enter private guild halls for their guild after being kicked by the system with this bug, has anyone used /guildinfo or /guildstatus (I rarely use the command so can't remember which one it is while I'm at work). If you have someone who had this effect them and still are out of the guild please target them and use that command before you re-add them to see if it still shows them in your guild with that command and let me know.

Okay, let me see if I can understand you.
Guild member 1 - Was not guilded, you did /guildstatus and it showed no guild, but he could get in the hall?
Guild member 2 - was guilded, showed no guild on guild status, but couldn't get in the hall?

I did /guildstatus on my last currently known unattached guildie last night, and also on one of the guys that I'd re-upped the night before who came unattached again.
Both of them reported no guild when I tried it on them.

Got my guild today also. Although, i did not recieve any "member left guild" emails.
One of my members was all of the sudden not in the guild. And "species" keeps popping up under sponsored.

I have begun receiving "Guild Election Completed" emails for elections I never started, on Guild Halls placed after the fix. Please report this. The elections activate, but there is no activation email, and no one knows there is an election, till we get the email stating I retained my office. PLEASE SOE get on the ball and fix this ASAP the right time the third time. After all, Third Times a charm right? We are in the third version of the GCW, and you guys seem to have gotten that one right, lets fix this other problem, its a bit more pressing than adding face paint to the game.

Ya, Starsider, MEK established our fourth city on Talus, and after that I was getting the emails, I went there and check the two halls we had built there, and the elections were running on both, both built in the last week
