Thread: Strange Guild Terminal Bug

Just so everyone knows, I passed this onto the Devs yesterday so they could look into this quick. (I let them know before the last 3 posts on it.) It seems to be spreading. I have no clue what in the world would have caused this to start happening. Hopefully they can get this one fixed asap.

Thanks
Hey, so I'm the Okyr that got into this whole mess. To try and answer some Q's, the only thing i did as far as guild was I accepted a new recruit hours before I logged off. Other then that man.....I was siting in the Lok starport writing an email for like an hour(I know lol). And like it was posted earlier, after I was accepted as "species" I was kicked again the next time I logged in. I must say this has got to be the strangest bug I have ever seen.

Did anything in the guild change? Name? Permissions? Anything like that besides you recruiting someone?
Well I know we didn't change our name and we didn't start any guild wars. We haven't changed leadership, and as far as I can recall, we didn't end an election. My permissions were changed, but that was two days before we got hit with this bug, and I haven't even been affected (yet). I did notice that alot of guild titles were changed, but I think my guild leader did that after the bug and anyways, almost everyone with a title got it changed, but only two guildies got bugged.
I'll poke and prod the affected guildies and the guild leader into coming here and posting too. ![]()
I also got an email asking me to post the following. I don't know this person in any way, and I take no responsibility for anything in here. ![]()

Greetings!
I have the problem also, I am the guild leader of my guild and one of my guildies is exactly kicked out there like you describe it. Also, the thing with species in the sponsored window. We wrote to CS and the reply was (as usual): Write a bug report!
(Btw. what are CS paid for? For every ticket, I wrote in the last 6 months, I got the same answer: Write a bug report! Cant imagine my problems are that complex that the game has to be patched to solve them)
So, dont waste your time with writing tickets to CS, they cant help you there. I think the only possible thing is everyone who is affect (and maybe the others also, can hit you next day) write a new bug report about it every day until it is solved, maybe the huge amount of bug reports makes it urgent to solve for the devs.
Until that, the only solution I can think of is, to disband the whole guild and add all members new... but that can be quiet dangerous, because maybe more cant join then anymore. The best is that they fix it fast!

DO NOT do anything drastic. This bug has only been reported now for a few days and we just need to try to figure out what's going on to provide the Devs with more info so they can find it, reproduce it, and kill it brutally.
As soon as I get new info (Like the stuff provided about recruiting, titles changing, etc..) I passed it all along and they're keeping tabs on it. So the more info I get about what was done in the guild those days the better.
I think I must have had the bug since sunday, although I only noticed it yesterday. Anyway, I did nothing out of the ordinary saturday and sunday... did a space mission or two, did a few quests, ran around in Etyy for a while killing ullers... nothing guild-related during that time.
As far as the guild is concerned, the only thing of note is that we had a guild election (of the sort that pops up through that bug even though the leader was on regularly). The guild leader didn't close it in time, so it went through, and the current guild leader won it. I wasn't on when that happened though, I only saw him report it in his bug report yesterday, and also in his ingame ticket.
Incidentally, my CSR ticket has also been close with a copied&pasted "file a bug report" response. My guild leader has not had a response yet (he submitted his ticket yesterday, about an hour or so after I did).

I had the same problem. I'm the leader of Hyperspace Outlaws and logged in to find I was no longer in the guild. Someone else came to sponsor met but found that they could only accept a member called "species". He accepted "species" and I got some of my powers back, but the roster still doesn't register my character (or species) as being in the guild. Nothing that I know of changed in our guild and I had just logged on earlier with no problem (might have been the day before). I sent in a ticket and am awaiting a reply.
I would just like to say that I logged in again today to find I was yet again removed from my guild, however, this time when I was sponsored the name "species" was gone and I was succesfully accept as Teldenon. So, for right now things in my guild have returned to normal, as long as I don't get kicked again. I wonder if the last publish fixed anything?
Questions:
1. What happened to the character leading up to them being removed? Did they do anything specific? Respec, Drop skills, drop a house, remove a house, move vendors, anything at all. Probably not too relevant but any info can help out when you don't know where to start.
I used my token respec, other than that I did nothing out of the ordinary and did not even log in at all on Sunday.
2. Now probably the more important question, did ANYTHING in the guild change before this happened? Did you start a guild war? Recruit someone? Remove someone? Change guild permissions? Change names/tags? Start or end an election? Manual transfer of leadership? Change titles for a member? Anything at all that might have changed with the guild.
Nope, none of the above

Nothing. Oh yeah, earlier today I helped a guilde to finish his patrol mission in the village, other than that. Nothing.

No, I did not remove myself, I did not kick myself, I was not kicked. I did not invite anyone, I did not change anything at all. Btw, I am (or rather was) the guildleader of TDL (Dark Legion on Chimaera), and I didnt get voted out
I just want my guild back!!!
