That's a very strange bug. Did anyone actually file a ticket with a CSR in game yet? I know you said you contacted a CSR, but if the response was "file a ticket" it must not have been an in game one.

Any other information you can provide would be helpful. Also, if this happens to anyone else let me know. This could turn into an extremely nasty bug if this isn't an isolated case.

I'll bug my guild leader about it, and ask if he filed a ticket (if he hasn't, I'll make him ). I wasn't on at the time that this happened, but I'll find out whatever I can.

Ok, I asked and my guild leader and the affected guildiehave filed tickets. No responses yet.

However, this bug seems to have struck another one of my guildies. He realized he wasn't in the guild when the guildchat tab did not come up. We aren't going to try to get him back in at this point because we don't want to mess anything up further.

I just thought of more to add. The new person with the problem cannot see or speak in guildchat and does not have a guild tag next to his name. I forgot to see if he was still on the guild terminal or not.

This is very worrisome.

This kind of bug is UNACCEPTABLE, as it messes with our family in game (the one thing we can usually count on above all other stupid things in game lol) PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure if this happens to contact one of your guildmates asap.

Anything in yellow was actually written by my guild leader, who doesn't often come to the forums. And he did file a ticket, I posted this here to see if anyone else had this problem and to warn others in case it happens to them.

The exact same thing happened to me. I was also accapted back into the guild as "species". I filed an in game ticket on Radiant for the problem. Here's the real kicker...once I am back into tthe guild, upon my next log in I'm booted again from the guild. I have two toons and this only happens to one of them (so far). Pretty annoying.

Did you file a ticket to a CSR? And if so, what did they say?

This has happened to me today. I logged on and when I went to say hi in guild chat it told me channel is unavailable, I didn't think anything of it since the channels are bugged right now. Well a few second later I bring up my character sheet and it does not list my guilds name, so I target myself and dont see our tag and finally when I did a /guildstatus it said I am not in a guild. No one else has received the "member has left guild" e-mail, but the worst part of all this is I am the leader of my guild WSABI.

I'm doing a full scan right now and if that doesn't work then I'm gonna file a ticket.

Aye, this happened to Team Thrax on Europe-Chimaera as well.

However, I think there's a character called 'species' on our server - /addfriend didn't moan that they didn't exist.

Just hope they're not receiving our guild mails now.

Yes, I have the exact same problem on Chimaera (see Daryl666's post above me, he's my guild leader). I filed an ingame ticket, didn't receive a reply yet (was only on for 2 hours after submitting the ticket yesterday though).

And yes, you should most definitely post this in the current bug thread in the In Live board. Especially so since it doesn't seem to be an isolated incidence. Both me and my guild leader have already done so, and the more people post about this, hopefully the sooner SOE will take notice of it.

While this has not happened to me (that I know of), it happened to my guild's leader last night. He found that he was suddenly no longer in the guild, and when he was re-sponsored into it, it was indeed as "Species". I know he opened a CSR ticket on it, but I don't have any details-but at least I can confirm that others are having this issue as well.

Just so everyone knows, I passed this onto the Devs yesterday so they could look into this quick. (I let them know before the last 3 posts on it.) It seems to be spreading. I have no clue what in the world would have caused this to start happening. Hopefully they can get this one fixed asap.
