So Your saying once you master a elite proffesion you should be able to take anything solo with no buffs and armor?? If it were that way this game would be almost pointless to play, lok is supposed to be one of the harder planets that almost requires you to be buffed and have aromor or be grouped.

no it's not. being owned and just being killed are two different things. Perhaps I should explain that.

I have been killed by an NPC before and it's not a big deal. You (and everyone else who thinks I am mad just because I died) are missing the point. I would type it again, but I've typed it like 5 times already. You just need to read AND comprehend.

if you thought being a master anything would give you the skills to own all you were sadly mistaken.... I wouldnt even go near Lok withought buffs or brandy period.

You still don't get it. There should be no way that a humanoid lacky should have more potential than a player. The fact that he was red to me means he was so far beyond my skill that I'd have a snowball's chance to even wound him.

wow dude u are a cry baby.Lok is a highmobed planet.even close tostarportthere aremercs next to it.
+ stopin shot dose about 1k+ of dmg u have no armor no buffs so health was about 1300.yep you got owned my a Merc that have 10k ham.I dont even fight them with buff and armor.so i have some advice dont go to lok and stay on tantoonie or naboo or some other lame planet.untell you learn to get buffs and armor.
mercs on lok are relly tough withough and buffs and armor.I watched1 merckill my master comando friend who was usin a flamer in about 3 shots he was unbuffed but werin some ubess armor.
merc are mercinaries(sp?) a hired asasin(sp?) to kill people.they are prob beter fighter them you pluss dont know if you know this but the pistoleer profsion is kind of messed up.
and this is not the movies or the books it is a video game just play it if you dont like what happens take a break and come back later and play agian.

actually I am listening to what you're saying. You say that it's cool that a player of master combat level can be completely owned by a merc or a stormtrooper. You are also saying that I should go around wearing armor and being buffed all the time. Well that is not practicle to do so all the time. If you can live with being weaker than a lacky, that's fine with me. I, however, believe that players should be able to rise above those lackies.
YOU are the one who's not listening to me. I'll say it one more time. I should not need buffs and armor to take a lacky NPC (storm troopers and mercs). It's sad that a merc killed a master commando in 3 shots like that. That shouldn't happen either. It's sad to me, that people can justify a game being "fun" while at the same time, forcing players to use buffs 24/7 and wear armor all the time to kill those NPCs who, from what I've seen and read, are basicly cannon fodder. I'm supposed to be the main character in my story. This is one un0heroic guy when he's less than a minion of some one. A stormtrooper is bacicly a grunt in the imp army. Tough? yes, but not "instant death" for a player of a master combat profession.
As to your other comments or insults. I refuse to dignify with a comment.
PS I know this isn't a movie or a book. I've seen movies. I've read books. If this is supposed to be baised on those, then the strength of the characters mentioned should reflect that. Storm troopers and mercs are NOT uber butt-kickers anywhere but this game.

InDaoc you can get killed my a no name npc all the time just go hunt in df so stop cryin and just play the game.
Oand what was the name of the npc .
Yeah good luck killin any REDCON merc on Lok without BUFFS and ARMOR MORRON.Listen to what people are sayin if you dont like buffs and armor go onhunt onNaboo and Tatoonie.or Correaliea.not shure what they are cause i like to kill higher end stuff.

also look at the HAM and there resist.Also are you usin good weapons.u sould have atleast 1kind of pistol for every dmg type there is that we get.
and when they say certain death that means you are most likly goin to die.dont know how you became a master pistoleer with out usin buffs and armor.

Ahem. I know I sound like a broken reccord, but you are STILL not listening to me. I KNOW these people are RED to me and that means they're so hard that I shouldn't beable to kill with with out buffs and armor. That point AGAIN is that I shouldn't HAVE to wear and do all that stuff. Just so you know. Wookiee armor sucks anyway.
And these non named NPCs in DAOc are they creatures? Because I'm not talking about creatures. I used to hunt in Darkness Falls all the time and the level 50s mopped up down there.
It's not that I don't like buffs and armor. I just don't think I should need them to kill said parties.
