Thread: A reasonable request from a pistoleer: fix our profession

It saddens me that the only way to be a decent PvP pistoleer is to stack the pistol line from bounty hunter with it.
Or to stack the pistolline from smuggler....

Actually smuggler doesn't help that much in PvP. Without mind damage in PvP, you are nothing, even with a stun weapon. Buffs make health regen extremely fast, and they can also pop a stim for a heal.You need BH for eyeshot if you want to PvP as a pistoleer (and use a tangle pistol for stun).

Dont forget about Combat medic my friend! I was a master gunfighter/combat medic and it was really nice in PvP. The only class I was scared of was rifleman, no other class could take me out before my poisons got a hold of them.Ive dabbled in fencer, unarmed(didnt quite make it to TKA, the thought of kung fu in star wars was kind of **edit**ty to me, swordsman, rifleman, pistoleer, carbineer and being a master gunfighter was the only thing I wanted to master. It makes sense to be a pistol slinging mofo in star wars! I get sick of people saying pick up smuggler, pick up BH. Why should I have to master scout to be worth a damn. I think every profession besides rifleman is getting the shaft.(yes, i think TKAs are getting **edit**ed over too, cuz they are slaves to rifleman also).
And to the guy who said pistols are useless in real life combat, are you from earth?! Wake up dumb dumb, A PISTOL IS JUST AS GOOD AS RIFLES ORCARBINES AT PUTTING SOMEONE ON THEIR ASS if you want to talk about real life son.
I beleive enforcing ranges in game would go a long way in helping to balance things out. Keep the weapons strong in their respectable ranges and if you decide to fight outside of the recommended range then you get bull**edit** damage. Simple as that. So now you have the professions having to pick their fights and use thought instead of a lone rebel rifleman loading up in bestine and turning into rambo cuz he can effectively man handle a pistoleeer with both of them running in a circle thats 20m wide. Ummm yeah....this game is getting dry.
And on top of that somebody **edit**ing hit my car and left a nice little dent above the wheel and they are oh so MIA.
Sigh. I am currently a Master Pistoleer/ BH. I USED to be a Doctor instead of a BH, but I was constantly sick of being **** in PVP. I got capped by other classes in 15 seconds while I was still hacking miniscule pieces off their health bar, even with buffs, brandy, and spice.
Now, I have eye shot and high accuracy and speed. I can hold my own in PVP now instead of being a meatshield for my teamates.
Come on. Fix pistoleer so this combo isn't necessary for survival anymore.

This is for the GCW, not specific profession problems.
