Thread: Go take a look at the new BH report

Also about the knockdown I was asking.
Was the attack down after a knockdown? Remember damage is increased. Did the bounty hunter knock the mob down THEN whip out the LLC?
That gun is very powerful and is a great weapon no doubt. However it's uberness is overrated by many who simply don't know how the gun works.
Like I said I've only done 3K of damage and you have to be in melee range to use the specials. It's intended to be a very powerful up close weapon. It does just that.

I'm a BH myself (0-2-4-1) and I've done well over 3k damage with an LLC with a special. You're probably just doing something wrong. Tips: 1) kneel, 2) use a damage sliced LLC, 3) knock the guy down first. If I knock the mob down and then use the LLC (one macro on my toolbar) I get over 7k-8k attacks very often.
You're right that the LLC is a weapon that is overrated by some people. Personally I find it better in PvE than PvP. But it is a crazy weapon. Right now as a Master Pistoleer/Expert BH I usually have an easier time taking down mobs with an LLC than I do with a sliced Scatter Pistol. That's kind of crazy since I only have one box of LLC skill but I have 26 boxes of pistol skills.

10K mobs are still tough because the weapon in question misses 40%+ of the time. Last night I got 1 hit out of 5 on a mark with it. BTW the hit was only for 3K.
Caelrie is a TROLL. No if's, and's or but's about it. I still think she took Novice BH just so she could post in the BH forum and not feela pang of guiltabout doing it. If it truely is your profession, why don't you help us fix it and not get it flamed to death. Most of us don't want the crap that wepps is talking about. Besides, he is notour correspondent so quit referring to him a such.
As for my own opinion, I don't think all classes should be equal. Assuming that someone ONLY masters 1 profession, BH's and Commandos should be at the top of the combat heap. Reason being that we spend the most points on that. But the reality of the game is that no one only masters 1 profession. If you supplement your pistoleer skills withalmost any othercombat profession then you should be AT LEAST the equal of a Master BH. But a straight up Master Pistoleer(with no other skills) should be beaten by a Master Bounty Hunter.
Remember, this is my opinion, not those of my fellow Bounty Hunters.

I felt that the 5 professions you guys were hoping to steal things from had every right to a link to that post. And in case you didn't notice, there are a number of pistoleers in this thread who are glad I posted it. Even the pistoleer correspondent posted about it and replied to Wepps' post in another thread on this board.

Well put. Basically, no matter how you look at it, Caelrie is making a mountain out of an ant hill. Wepps put up what he thought was a needed fix, the things he posted does not reflect the community, it does not hold the weight of a correspondent, nor do any of the changes already appear on Test Center. It's just plain silly to try to bring attention to something that was the idea of one person and not the reflection of an entire class. Trying to stir up contention among class...

The title of this tread and the context you placed it in is a bold faced lie.
You only motiviation for doing this was to stir up the hornets nest USING a bold faced lie. Which is an extemely piss poor way for a human being to think themselves though life. You think by postingstuff like this,you can draw attention for yourself and there in lies another serious weakness on your part. You know how these 2 professions have really had it out with each other in the past and instead of posting a VALID complaint; what do you do. Pull up a very old thread from the Bounty Hunter boards title it with a bald face lie and sit back it that chair of yours so you can just soak up all that hatred out there. It's quite sickening and this is my last post in regards to anything you have to say or post from now on. Let's face it you LIVE on the Bounty Hunter boards we all see you there every single day and I for onewon't read anything you post from here on out.

You get defensive bonuses, we don't. We get bigger damage bonuses and can target any pool. Sounds fair to me. I understand that the mods don't work correctly yet, let's work with the devs to get them fixed. Once they are working then we can start to look more closely at how the classes should or shouldn't balance. Until that time it is a moot point.
Yes, you will see some BH's saying that we should be able to take out Jedis or we should have this skill or that skill. These are the 12 year old "1337 d00ds" that flock to every Flavor of the Day combat class. Ignore them. They are full of crap and most other BH's know this and agree.
I'll say this as nicely as I know how. You complain about the 12 year olds who want to be uber, but then say that deserve to be "teh ub3r" because you play a killer, insinuating of course that pistoleers aren't trained to kill people?
Then you say that pistoleers get defensive bonuses and that's supposed to factor into the balance. Well, I can agree with that. But when combined with your statement about losing 100% of the time to a BH, just how much stock do you put in those defensive skills if they're not supposed to help vs a BH?
I don't think a straight pistoleer should have even a 50% vs a straight bounty hunter either. But add another 120 points or so of skills to that pistoleer, and then yes, I think it should be 50%. Because quite frankly, no pistoleer spends her 92 points and then says, "wow, I'm done! I'll just these other points go unused!"

The word "report" is in quotes for a reason. To any literate person, that means it isn't the real report, but rather one that's either pretending to be, or one that aspires to be.
What we're seeing here is not me lying, it's you not being literate.

All I said was that in 1-on-1 combat with someone that has ONLY mastered Pistoleer and spent NO OTHER SKILL POINTS, that a Master Bounty Hunter should beat them. How is that uber? That sounds about right to me.
