Randonb, can you disclose information reguarding the specials that may be fixed or removed, without violating the NDA (which I assume stands for Non-Disclosure Agreement)

For a glimpse of some better info look at the bh forum and what Tanks wrote..
He says that as soon as publish 10 is lined out, no units will be going to JTL and ALL units will be focused on
the Combat Revamp
There is no longer a mild combat balance before JTL. It was scrapped for
the combat revamp... perhaps to go live in November is the best guess...(crosses fingers)

it's too bad that you didn't bring your girlfriend this time...
Awe, don't 1-star Pappi for saying that. There's a running gag that all the correspondents want to hit on my GF, who they met at Fan Fest.

Will dual wielding be implemented w/ this oh so fable combat balance? I know you can't release that information directly but can you give us a hint? We were told awhile that fencers and pistoleers would be able to dual wield.
No, dual wield will not bea part ofthe Combat Balance. That is slated for sometime after Jump to Lightspeed.

Ok its monday.... where can we find the docs
I plum forgot today would be labor day. Apparently TH did too. I don't know when he's planning on rolling them out, but today was the ETA he wanted us to disperse.

I would assume Randonb, that what we discussed at FanFest, ie Pistoleers being in closemobile combat, carbineers being crowd control and rifleman being the long range killers, made it into these discussions? I brought up weapons classes, ex. heavy pistols and the like, in the ranged combat forum at FF, and it was said that this was a direction they wanted to go in.
I definately want each class to have a role. I've been a Pistoleer for most of my time in SWG, but have dropped back to novice because it has been described by to many people as weak and redundant in regards to rifleman. I have novice rifleman and I have 2 less accuracy than pistol in rifle, but +1 more in speed, and this is with a mod of +3 to pistol speed due to CorSec gloves!!
I hope pistoleer is finally given a role that we can enjoy. I want to be the mobile run and gun type with pistols, but I can also now be a run and gun type with rifleman, but do twice as much damage, with more speed and higher AP.
That is definitely the kind of thing we went over. One overall theme seems to be making sure every profession has a role setting them apart. Really.

"The docs are being worked on and will start to be trickled out a week from Monday (Sept 6th). "
According to this, they should begin one week from yesterday. Or the first one is due on the 13th of September, this foul year of our lord, 2004.
