Thread: Please welcome the new Pistoleer Correspondent!
I know Jaegan has already been the correspondant for awhile, but I felt it necessary to jump in here and just say that I think Jaegan has done an incredible job. I haven't really posted all that much, but I have been lurking and reading alot.
So, thank you Jaegan for all your time and effort and for really giving us 110%.
<bow>
/I agree
He has done alot fo work for us. I love the FAQ sheet he created and he is the best Mod of all the profession
Thank you for all you hard work!
Now let go get us a Range Knockdown again and a Shot that only hit oneHAM pool like the mind pool for Fan or Stopping shot!
Jaegen, you are working very well. But... Can you explain me this '88' in your name?... please.
it's not a joke, you know.
Jaegen is an excellent correspondent and a hard worker. He's dutiful as well. While other correspondents have jumped ship because of SOE Breaking the already working professions, Jaegen has continued his tireless reasearch.
Jaegen, I truly hope you will serve this role for another term at least. If the Pistoleer class is gonna have any chance of being a combat class again, we're gonna need you.
/vote Jaegen88 for another term as Pistoleer Correspondent.
He is defintely the hardest working correspondent on the forums.
Keep up the good work Jaegen!
Spicefiend: Thanks for the lesson on Nazism,I for one had no idea 88 was used as to inferNeo-Nazism. I am an old gamer and graduated High School in 1988 and have used it previously in online names when my desired name was already taken, I will refrain from this in the future due to your posts. Additionally, your general ad hominems are quite amusing, keep upthe good work.
Jaegen: You have done an excellent job in the past and are obviously highly concerned with this profession and I congratulate you on becoming correspondent.
Now if we can just get our specials working and get some decent master moves worthy of being a master, I will be really impressed. Good luck climbing that mountain!
Regards,
Delim
You realise.. I'm German. I was born in Germany, I speak the language fluently and have never heard such bull**edit** about the hidden nature of Neo-Nazi culture. 88 HAS been used as Heil Hitler, very true and quite correct but only by those ignorant and naive enough to, firstly, be supporting Hitlerand secondly, cowardly enough to hide behind symbolism.
I will say now, I am a supporter of Hitlers fundemental policies on Economics, Growth, Trade and will also say that Germany would never be in its position it is currently in without Hitler's rise to power. He was Time Magazines person of the year, people forget this factor
I do NOT condone, nor do I agree with his segregation policies and believe strongly against sepratism of races. Anyone pathetic enough to insult me for viewing Hitlers good points as well as his bad, simply realise this.. my wife is a very beautiful, very loving Israelite.
Hunt 88 (Jaegen88) to me did not bare any links to Hitler. 88 by itself may have. Hunt Heil Hitler? If I was taking this as naively as spicefiend did (he later aquitted himself, yes)I would take it to mean "Hunting Hitler" as in, trying to stamp it out
There are many criminals we hail as greats. Hitler is hated through his hatred of another creed, Jews.
Why do we not hate America for attacking Vietnam for Communism or Afghanistan for Islam or Iraq for Muslim? American Propaganda.
To summarize America as being more evil than Hitler would be wrong of me, but I think looking throughout the two Nuclear weapon drops on Hiroshima, the invasion of Vietnam and most recently, the invasion of Iraq (not to mention destabilization of the worlds economy, selling arms to both sides during WW II and its persecution of the Native Americans) Americans need not point the finger at a man who did one wrong, Hate another kind for what they were, not who they were.
I will probably be slandered racist, I do in no means hate the american people. I hate the American politicians.
88 is also Eric Lindros's number maybe he's just a lindros fan.Lol we had a kid in school who wore almost nothing but Philly jersey's with number 88 on them, heck he even had "Lindros88" personalized liscence plates.
Could be a ton of reasons Jaegen uses 88 in his handle, could been the year he gradded' the year he got married, maybe even the number he himself wore playing sports growing up, etc etc etc.
