Lots of good info here. If it were toned downto be a little less negative, this would male a great addition to the August FAQ.

In any case, it deserves to be stickied. Hard to believe the Pistoleer Correspondant hasn't already done so.

you mentioned mods being profession specific....does this mean if I dabbled in the fencer grips tree the melee/ranged defense mods wouldnt apply unless I had a fencer weapon equipped?

What on earth is going through Philosopher's mind??? This FAQ, even if it needs improvements,is 100 times better than the 1.0 that is SOOOOOOO out of date.

The lack of a Pistoleer Correspondant is really going to hurt us now that SOE is doing this big Combat Profession Revamp.

ok here is our break down .....

we have no corrispondant, our speed is out match by every profession you get more speed with 4 boxes of bh then master pistoleerour shots are all messed up(i do mean ever single one execpt melee defence 1). our pistol the DX just plain sux even if you wanted it to be krytan it still takes like 4 or somthing segments (not for sure exactly) even then you need to be at point blank to hit with it; anddodge still sux the animation from pikeman is annoying. that just about covers it loved your post and still need sticky. /bumpidy /bump /bump

I have been slowly working up Pistoleer the last few months. I just got master CH so now I am concentrating on Master Pistoleer. I never read this forum and definately not this FAQ and wow now I am excited to get home after work and try out some new tactics! I have been using the wrong specials all this time (except HealthShot2 - will now use HS1 as well)

I have been using my DX2 a lot lately, I didn't know it was an inferior gun. I just noticed it used acid and most things are vulnerable to acid so I used it. I have an FWG5 and Rebuplic Blaster as well, but I haven't noticed that they do any better than my DX2. I will try to pay closer attention and maybe try some tests.

Well thanks for this great FAQ and I hope it gets stickied, the other one is WAY out of date.
