Thread: A reasonable request from a pistoleer: fix our profession
I once saw a guy take a stack of 8 clay pigeons, throw them into the air, pick up a PUMP shotgun off a table, and shoot all 8 of the clay pigeons, ONE AT A TIME, before they hit the ground.
A good sniper can put a bullet through a quarter at 1000 yards.
Let's not even try to compare this game to reality. If it were about reality, pistols would be totally useless in combat compared to rifles and carbines. But it's not reality, and the name of the game is BALANCE.

Squad leader:
2 working specials (FormUp and Retreat) and none of them usable without buffs.

Trust me, I know gimpedness. I used to be an SL/BH lol. I strongly sympathize with squad leaders.

Well, i was Squad leader back in week 3, dropped it about 2 weeks later and just recently picked it up again. It struck me like a lightning bolt that nothing (and i mean NOTHING) had been fixed by that time. Rather disappointing. But now i put all my trust into the In concept thread.
If only the stupid noobs would stop posting for SLs to get NPC handling abilities.... they drive me nuts.

Read the patch notes pal, i had no confidence before they were even posted that pistoleer would receive any attention and low and behold! We arent! We need this petition.!

Totally agree. I hung on to Pistoleer until about a month ago, because I was sure that it would be addressed. Eventually I realized that the devs have no intention of fixing the broken professions. They get their jollys from nerfing stuff, not fixing the already broken professions.
Pistoleer has not been addressed since I joined this game (last summer). If you run into someone wearing good composite armor, you might as well just shoot yourself.
