No really I'd like to know if the combat revamp will revamp our specials and make us more useful against the uber MOBs they've been adding to the game. Most particularly if we will get any state effects. I mean carbine fullauto1 in the marksman tree can land about all of them at once. I think they could spare a stun, dizzy, or blind to one of our higher level specials.
1) How did they come up with the current pistols for the game?
2) Why is the DL-44 pistol, probably the most famous pistol in Star Wars, such a bad pistol for us?
3) How come the DH-17 pistol (I think thats what it is called)looks exactly like the CDEF carbine?
I know there a couple more but I can't think of them at the moment.
May seem kinda trivial, but why the title change at the master box?
I clearly remember it being 'Master Gunfighter' and now it reads 'Master Pistoleer'
Personally I liked the old title, I know there were some other title changes in other professions, but I think we got shafted on this one. Can the master title be changed back to the old?

But what about some cold damage? or restraint? or electricity? would that be so difficult to change the DL44 to Electric and the Tangle to Cold ?
we have more damage types than any other profession (except for bounty hunter which has access to all of our damage types anyway).....
energy, stun, kinetic (the ONLY ranged with kinetic), acid, heat
carbineers get heat, energy, and acid
rifleman get cold, stun, energy, and recently, acid
commandos get blast, energy, acid, cold
teras kasi get kinetic.... yes, tha'ts IT, with the new deathwatch they'll get heat also, they are also penalized by the AP1 restraint as we are
fencers get kinetic and stun and the same AP1 restraint
swordsman get blast, kinetic
pikeman get energy, kinetic, electricity
our lack of AP is more than made up by the fact we can deal damage in the most damage types available
