If you still think it's not supposed to be a single shot on ONE target then how about you ask Thunderheart why we get the same shot for Master Pistoleer? What's the point in getting Fan Shot and then getting a shot that does the exact same thing for being a Master? The description for Fan Shot states, "This ranged shot can hit a SINGLE target MULTIPLE times." The Multi Target Pistol Shot which is in the Master Pistoleer box state, "This ranged attack for pistols can hit MULTIPLE targets at once." Therefore the MULTI TARGET PISTOL SHOT IS THE AOE SHOT. The Fan Shot has been broken for the past year and still needs to be fixed!

I can draw you pretty pictures to show you how the shot is intended to work if you can't quite comprehend it Randonb. It sometimes pays to have a clue before attempting to make another look as though they don't understand. I could care less how this shot has been working as an aoe shot for the past year. The fact is it's broken and not working correctly when it hits multiple targets. If yourself and the rest of the pistoleer community is still under the dillusions that the shot is working as intended then you need to have a serious chat with the Pistoleer developer and have him explain to you what each shot is supposed to be doing.

Here's what you can do bub. You can drudge up the post from the development team that states Fan Shot is an aoe shot and not intended to hit a single target mulitple times instead of doing what it is doing now and since the game launched. Can't find that info? Yeah that's right, because it doesn't exist. Randonb responded with a subtle way of being an **edit** himself. Do you expect some brownie points for defending the pistoleer corospondent? lol here ya go, you're hearby awarded 50 million brownie points good job!

Or you could show me where the dev's say the shot isn't doing what it's supposed to do,doing what it'sbeen doing since launch.

It's more likely that the text in the skill tree needs to be fixed than that the shot does.

And i'd rather have brownies than points ...chocolate fudge ones if ya got 'em.

To Fan the Shot although perhaps sounding in one way as to fan in a cone this does not neccesarily mean that it's to be that way. As it's described in game it's a shot that hits One target multiple times. Meaning it's hitting that target as though a fan was hitting that target. By the way I've trolled nothing here as I am only asking for the evidence that this shot is working as intended which has not been shown as of yet.

You are offering no information from developers as to your beliefs anymore than I have. Yet of course I am wrong and the community who beileves without the proof is correct as usuall. I would have to believe more so that after a year they would have corrected any of the professions inacurate information as displayed in the game. Before they would have corrected the non working shot itself since they are so far behind with the broken professions. Child, I am not. But thank you for attempting to back up your beliefs with the typical you're a child and don't have a clue bit.

Sure, in the same way that a Multi-Target shot could hit multiple targets on the same person (IRL - target head and targetchest and targethand; In Game - targetHealth and targetAction and target Mind) or it could mean multiple enemies.

The current function of the two though is that fan shot hits multiple enemies and that Multi target hits one enemy more than once. Thus the descriptions needs to be fixed or the shots need to be. I won't speak for the community but i feel that the change could be made to the descriptions easily and that any changes to the shots (which i believe work ok but could use tweaking) could be left for the combat rebalance.
