Can be very expensive, I remember shelling out over of mill after the chef revamp, but thats beacuse I carry crates around (hate running out of stuff, I have 3 storage droids with crates of stims and armour as well).
For starters get crates of:
Vasarian Brandy
Vagnarian Canape (more powerful then ahrisa but less duration, better to use this for when you need a big boost to mind regen)
Pikatta Pie
Vercupti (very pricey)
Thakatillo
Ithorian Mist
Synthsteak
And a crate of Moun Gold and Neutron Pixie, moun for mind heal and extra regen in emergencies.. and pixie for when you die on the vette or nasty PvP situations.
Get a single of each out of the crates and drag them em all in your main toolbar slots (bind your specials to your keyboard using modal chat) then you can use the F keys to chug your chef buffs.
I sometimes play my rl mates toon, and I got him equiped with all the chef buffs I use... he hasn't got the hang of it yet but he has found that he lives through a lot of encounters that would normally get himkilled by "eating a bit of everything".

M pistols and 0/0/4/0 BH is great for PvP on non jedis, in fact, it works best on Melee Stackers.....
Turso Shot gives you fire so if u go at the health, your opponet will be crippled or at least be afraid.
Eye Shot with a Geo Pistol is basicly a rifleman

If you create a macro that just has a special move in it, say /stoppingShot, then go into Options > Interface > Keymap > Custom you can assign it to a key.
To stop you typing in chat when you press the key, while you are there, bind Start Chat to the Enter Button and enable modal chat from the check boxes on the keymap window.
Now you have to press enter to type, but you can write macros for anything you like and bind them to whatever key you want, creating a custom interface just the way you want it.

I go with Master Pistols, BH 0030 and Fencer 0440. Have all buffs + brandy, synthsteak and canapés. I use a geoblaster or scatter pistol. Stack all bleeds then spam eyeshots. Use kipup-shot if I ever get knocked down (I rarely do with the fencer mods).
It's not the best PvP-template and I get beaten alot on my own. It works best in groups and I'm often among the last to go down. Good for protecting docs, cm's etc.
Was a while since last time I pvp'd though so things may have changed..

Kip-Up is for standing while dizzy and posture down, you can't stand while kd/dizzy using this.

You sorted out modal chat and binding specials via macros to keys then?
How are you finding it?

my template isnt all pistols. But it works well in pvp and pve. Tkm, Pistoleer, Smuggler, Medic, Master Swordsmen. im 0,0,3,0 smuggler, 2,3,0,0 in medic. and almost master pistols. so KD and dizzy resists are high for me when u throw in swordsmen and tkm. and my 314dmg sonic pwns. eats right threw buffs, alls i do is dizzy/KD and spam away specials. i do like 590dmg in pvp with this blaster, and when i apply all my dot sonics u are usually screwed.

Anyone notice a sad common theme in the advice given here? DOT's. The game just doesn't seem to be very playable unless you go farm npc's for DOT weapons(I've never looted a decent pistol with DOT and rarely see them on trade froums) or you have to have a lot of doctor in your templateI know this isn't at all what I signed up for when I joined SWG on launch day after following the game for 2 years prior. Don't tell me to leave SWG, I love the game but just can't find myself PvP'ing until the ridiculous DOT's and Doc requirements are out of the equation.
For me the sad common theme is that all the best pistol specials and skill modsaren't in the pistolier profession. A master ranger has enough skillpoints to master one elite combat profession and have points left over for novice medic. I wanted to try pistols and I'm enjoying them, but it sucks that you almost have to supplement pistolier with two other elite professions if you want to become truly formidable.
