All I can say is: "Thank you!" This has been my biggest overall beef with the profession after the broken specials. Can't do the Geo Lab as a Pistoleer to get a Sonic schem as things stand now (which is why I dropped BH and picked up Swordsman; sadly, now I use the latter more than Pistoleer - hope this changes, soon).AP would go a looooong way towards fixing that. If you can, please lean towards some special ability or other instead of various weapon and damage types. I don't want to lose half my inventory to carrying 50 different pistols. -chuckle-
Anyway, thanks again! I was worried this might not even be addressed.

Post-Script: The damage boost from AP 2 would definitely help with the low-DPS issue, too. Kill two birds with one stone.

randon, you're the best correspondent EVAR!! lol
about the AP and vulnerabilities discussion....... i heard (notice, HEARD) that jawa ion guns were getting changed to electricity..... if this is true, then that would mean that pistoleers, fencers and bounty hunters would have the only stun weapons in the game
if more high-end content was given a stun vulnerability (even without the change), this would really help to put us back on the combat roster in high-end combat again
just an idea

/reiterate
PLEASE push for AP2 instead of different damage types. It's rather inconvenient carrying around seven or eight pistols in my inventory.

I'm still holding out for my "Precision Strike" idea (/shameless plug), but ANY AP2 will do.

Specifically can we get the SR combat pistol pushed to AP2? It seems that it is the one that would piss off the least numbers of people (that or the DE-10 at master) and with the 48m max range it also doesn't make it seem "overpowered" for pistoleers to have + they don't have to introduce an entirely new weapon.

i'd prefer the DE-10 as AP2.
i remember when they first showed it, i was the first to speculate that it would be AP2 Cold, and people have been tooting the AP2 Cold horn ever since

If any pistol in the game just looks like it should have AP2, it's the DE-10. Hand cannon. It would make a nice perk for pistoleer mastery.

Believe me, I want nothing more than the DE-10 to be an AP2 cold weapon, but I was suggesting the SR because it has limitations that would make it 'acceptable' to other professions who might go into apoplexy at the idea of pistoleers being useful

That'd be a nice rumour, though it'd also be nice if the good old tangle wasn't so pants. I'm also a fan of the DE-10 being bumped up to AP2, though maybe not changed to cold (have something else that does cold instead).

One of my biggest conerns is pistoleer still being ineffective versus high end mobs after the combat balance. I'm sure I'm not the only one that feels this way either. Anyhow, I suppose part of our "vision" should be to have an equal footing with respect to other professions andour ability to fight end-game opponents.

Healthshot 2- I agree on Healthshot 2. Body Shot 2 does 200-750ish dmg while Body Shot 3 can do 200-900dmg. The only difference between the 2 is that Body Shot 3 has a chance to do 200dmg more, but that chance is negligable.
Pistol Melee Defense 1: I have 3 complaints. You can only knockdown a target once. Dont bother trying to knockdown the same target a 2nd time. Youre wasting youre time. Also, the KD lasts for about a round so youre only getting a Full Charge shot in while the target is down. If its a Body Shot2, the target might be up already by the time the shot goes off as its slower than Full Charge. Also, you dont do much more damage when the target is down. Unlike Carbine where you can do 400-800 more dmg when the target is down. Id like to KD a target more than once per fight and Id like to get more than 1 shot off while hes down.
Disarming Shot 1: Bah! How about having it do what the name implies? DisarmingPC and npc targets in combat forcing them to waste time rearming their weapon and erasing their combat queue? Also damaging the weapon its supposedly targetting.
Disarming Shot 2: Same as above, but more dmg and more time before target can rearm.
Stopping Shot: How about more damage for this slow attack?
Id like to see more speed, and accuracy

I have to disagree with this point, i know that in the past this attack is working only one in a time. But actually i'm testing it again and is working more than once in the same mob. Dont now if this was fixed without warning.
