Here's the deal: You get 100points for each category. I'll list a few options, and you tell me how many points go into each. This will demonstrate how much of a priority each option is for you. For example:

Keeping in mind that PvP and PvE opponents have a melee range of 20 meters, how effective should we be at which range?

0-21 meters: 33

21-42 meters: 33 (this example is no indication of my opinion)

43-64 meters: 34

On a couple of the questions it appears that I am trying to sway the results, but this isn't the case. I have only listed not-so-widely known facts that need to be taken into consideration.

Focus should be on damage and evasion, not absorbing damage. I have found that defensively I do about what I expect (keep in mind though that I come from being a BH, so any defences were a welcome relief to me )

To me the pistol is a very deadly weapon, and its wielder very fast and agile. Hence the reasoning behind my responses.

Edit Here: (Just a comment I thought of after reading one of the other posts)

If we are primarily focused on a range of 0-21 meters then we would have to be ablt to take the damage from melee fighters (i.i. tanking). However, using pistols we should have a high damage ouput at close ranges as well. I can see where this could lean toward being overly powerful up close, but that is sort of what I think a Pistoleer should be anyway.

Thanks guys. The first 7 responses had me kind of worried.

In case you are wondering, dual wield is absent from this poll entirely because it is so far off. It would be a big change involving multiple development teams. The main focus of this thread is for the upcoming Combat Balance Pass.

COMMENT: Palpatine gets credit only because he could throw lightning bolts. Yoda was a boring Jedi until Episode 2. Obi-Wan didn't suffer the whiney Luke dialogue ("with the blast shield down I can barely see, how am I supposed to fight?"). Vader had it all.
