i wish people wouldn't post this kind of thing.

believe me, the LAST thing you want is for the DL44 to be our best pistol

Master Pistoleer: "I soloed a Paralope today -UNBUFFED! I was hitting for over 50 damage per shot!"

Master Rifleman: "NERF PISTOLEER!"

the reason all the recognizable guns are low-level is to tantalize the newbs with their Han-Solo-Gun and make them happy. It would be better the other way around, though.

i have a krayt DL44 that doe over 400 dmg with a powerup.

to bad its got pewy acuracy

1.6 88-384 +42 ideal 12/36/12 with only 22% dmg slice and 62 tissue. crappy? I think not. \

Btw I hit for 3667 with Last Ditch with it today, so ...yeah

Well, what we could do it put the DL-44 metal up as a smuggler weapon, then raise its stats accordingly. To this day I still haven't figured out having two versions of the same gun for the sake of color.

Oops. wrong forum. Hehe. My point still stands. We have two version of the DL-44, one could be moved to a higher ranking and brought more into line with the stats of an elite profession's weapon. The DL-44 is a heavy blaster. In SW RPG terms, it fires 50 shots out of one energy pack, when a regular blaster would fire 100. It shouldn't be as low as it is. The idea of switching its place with the Republic Blaster is a good idea. It's about as close as you can get to a heavy blaster in this game.

I've never hit for less than 1k damage with that DL-44 and Last Ditch.

If a smuggler is flying a ship the is quite litterly falling apart on him, has to bang the sides to get this "Bucket of Bolts" to fly. Is in debt up to his eyeballs with the local drug lord. How can he afford the best pistol on the market?

You know how this whole thing could be fixed?

Swap the DL-44 model and text for the Modified Republic.

That'd do it. The DL-44 is primarily a cool looking gun. The Republic Blaster looks like ASS.

Just please, please, swap the models.

I think the main reason Han was killing stormies in the movies so easilly is because there were no HAM bars that had to be picked at, and it seemed that no armor served much of a purpous in the movies, except for disguise (or to deliver a very painful headbutt :smileytongue I think this kind of reasoning can also explain why Han was able to get the Sarlacc to let go of Lando using what seemed to be a CDEF pistol (or maybe the sarlacc just wasn't used to pain?)

The game is designed so that there are fights, rather than people dropping dead with every shot

But yeah, I would like for the DL-44 to be better.

he had a military grade hyperdrive, military grade shields, illegal modded guns and extra armor on the falcon.

i'm sure he could spend a little on a good pistol too

Warning shot still works with a CDEF.
