Thread: The DL44 should be our best pistol!!
He also never wore armour, so should smugglers be unable to do so? You can't really use the key figures from the movies as archetypes for everything in-game.
Bobba-Fett was an exceptional BH, not just a Master BH.
A couple of AT-ST's got splatted by Ewoks. Maybe they had crappy drivers and not all AT-ST's are so easy.
The storm troopers were very easy to kill. Well, they were up against exceptional opponents, and were nerfed by the script...
Just because one main character does something in the films, does not mean that ALL characters of their "class" must be the same, nor does it mean that they can't be different.
Hmmm, didn't mean to go on about this, but it's a pet-peeve of mine

yah i understand that and you're kinda running with my idea.
the point is - if han solo had a crazy modified space ship that he constantly tweaked - would be settle for some crappy noobie pistol?
when one watches the movies they see this pistol and think - that must be one sweet ass piece of death dealer.
but then in the game it's the lowest tier weapon.
the at-st's died because of design flaws and they are light personal support units. design flaws destroyed the empire from the AT-AT on up to the deathstar - good drivers or bad driver. ewoks or no ewoks.
annnnnnd.........he never wore armor because he was usually in a ship flying around and being in full suits of armor doesn't help you fly.
why would he wear armor??? saying "because he didn't wear armormeans smugglers can't wear armor" is just (bangs head on desk)..............shortbus! and has no bearing on anything mentioned here.
let me put it to you this way........do you think Darth Vaders lightsaber was a first gen tusken drop crystal saber?
these ICONS of the star wars galaxy should be the most sought after weapons in the game to give the game the best possible star wars feel.
when i first saw the dl44 in the game my mind thought "wow that must be a great weapon"
and my pet-peeve is when people look at situations completely wrong and adding things that aren't needed.

Dude, Han Solo's gun was from 1977. So, it's pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-nerf...

If you think about it, it was probably a "legendary gun" just like Princess Leia's CDEF Pistol (LOL) was also probably legendary to be able to do that much damage.
I deeply agree. You may also remember seeing Luke with the DL44 somewhere in there.
I'd like to add- The E-11 Blaster should be beefed up (I know it's not a pistol, but it's a bloody classic)
