The Rifts Gunslinger is awesome. If I remember correctly they get like +20 to initiative. They are/were basically I go first and you all die. I think they also had the ability to split fire with two pistols???
+3 to start and up the course of the skill trees it got to a +8 with additional bonuses coming from a high Physical Prowess. Yes they could use two pistols to fire at the same target or two differant targets but you lost on defense since you can only dodge incoming attacks no parry. Basicly in SWG terms it means you would lose damage mitigation and any other bonuses except for the dodge modifiers.
My character had a total of +16. He began issuing challenges and held a yearly contest of duels to see who would win... always to the death and the winner got paid 20million in Credits.

ok(looks through dvds on movie rack) most definately Loen from "The Professional", and Scaramanga(sp) fron "the man with the golden gun"those moviesare the entire reason i chose the pistoleer profession. Notable runners up are Caster Troy from faceoff, John Lee from "Replacement Killers",and the guy in "Desperado"(sp)

Of course, now I watched The Magnificent Seven on AMC (fantastic movie as we all know), and the whole time I'm thinking "THIS should be US! They're all Pistoleers!"

A Pistoleer should be someone like Han. The type of guy that'll shoot you under the table when you're not looking.

By far the best example is The Man with no Name, depicted by Clint Eastwood from those Sergio Leone spaggeti westerns.
