I understand it defies logic somewhat, but if any ranged user is going to go toe to toe with a tkm, it's a pistoleer. Those kd and dizzy defenses make a difference, also pistolmelee1 as well.

You have to have Balls of Steel my friend. If he is gets to wait for you and you are running up to him. will switch out his gun at 10 metersand hit you first with the macros of death, but this may be what your friend needs in order to hit him. You all tried lieing down to shoot him right? Where are those area attacks when you need them ? I am a TKA and Pistoleer and Smuggler. The pistol wiping of pistilmelee1 is nice then pointblank shot . this is when you wish your "friend" would be the tank and you were the shooter on your stomic at ideal range. LOL
I probably made it sound a little too easy.
But the fact remains, once you power out of a kd+dizzy the TKA is pretty much screwed.

Well at least until he pulls out his rifle lets me kite to my hearts content right into his perfect accuracy DB at 60m range hehe.

Huh? You know you have to get the Novice Brawler box to be either Smuggler or Fencer. Use /intimidate on defense stackers. You don't even have to put down your pistol to do this.
have we all forgotten that the combat system is only 1/4 complete right now. I know this scenerio will not be repeatable once the combat system is 100% complete. The devs did say way back when, that some aspects of combat will be extremely easy and others will be extremely harder. THis is probably one of those they were referring to.
By the way, was chianti the one you were fighting......I know he has or had a good templete that basically took an army to take him down a while back....just wondering if it's the same person.
for the person who says use PMD1....I'm a master pistoleer and PMD1 sticks half the time...you have to spam it a few times in PVE and a lot more in PVP....but by that time a TKM will hand your azz to you on a plate and ask if you want seconds.....the best time PMD1 works is when your opponent is running towards you....not when your running towards your opponent. Since TKM's range is greater than PMD1, I don't think it's feasible to use that as a tactic.
