The KD/Dizzy is really only a problem when you can never get up. If it was on a delay (10 sec timer) it would still be a powerful attack, just not so uberit isnt fair.
Exactly. It'd give us pistoleers enough time to get kiting distance away from a Melee/stacker, or just give us a few free shots (at 150% damage!) against anyone else.
The "drop and flop" ((C) LordMaxx, 2005) strategy is both cheap and lame in equal, brain-draining measures. I hope we Pistoleers are never turned into the ranged equivalent of TKM.

I doubt under the current system that we will ever be "uber."
Also its easy to stack up to 100-125 melee def if you are a temploter/melee stacker, so that kinda would cancel us out.

Also, the CURB will again limit the amount of armor people wear, as your "special pool" will be unbuffable, and that's what will be affected primarily by wearing armor. So I think we'll see more people without armor after the CURB. Armor will become a playstyle option, not a requirement.
All that to say, I for one don't think the Geno needs AP1 at all.

Pistoleers can't stun.
Pistoleers can't blind.
Pistoleers can't intimidate.
And riflemen can't do the stuff you're talking about either. I recommend you reread your profession skillsets 'cause you're way misinformed.
