Start to finish exactly 2 minutes.

Hit me 56 times
Missed me 4 times
I evaded 6 shots
I DODGED 18 SHOTS!!!!!!
( numbers are low as he threw his rancor at me then hid, then I put the BH on his back with wip )

I noticed my dodge rate skyrocketed once I switched from hittin the BH to hittin the CM, at one point I dodged 5 attacks in 6 seconds from the BH. ( better dodge rate against non-targeted opponents ? )

This is a very small sample and most of my dodges were against the bh, but thats a whole lotta dodge. Might be a problem if we all see these kind of results. My sample shows %32 dodge, thats pretty high.

Actually, Eye Shot is BH Pistol 2 Torso Shot is BH Pistol 4.

Well, in PVE, it works, no question here (Master Pistoleer too, so 105). But in PvP, not even once.

Dodge has nothing to do with accuracy...you DODGE a succesful hit, you can't dodge a miss (or it is somewhat stupid). So I fail to see any reason why in pvp it doesn't work for me...

my god... dodge is annoying. I didn't notice it at all in PvP, but fighting DTs and other faction npcs I was dodging right and left. problem is exactly as many have stated, the animation can get you killed. I was trying to rush them and Pistol Whip... and then I'd try to use my Polearm for a few hits. Well it's hard to rush if you are constantly stopping. We should tell a Dev to go try and Pistol Whip somebody, but in mid-stride type in /dance. That's sort of what dodge does. It would be perfect if the animation was removed or at least toned down so that it didn't affect movement.

In PvE against 5 cannibal dewbacks at once i dodged 12 attacks and had a total of 31 attacks against me.

12 were dodged

14 hit me

5 missed.

Well i got 3 of them but the last 2 got me

Anyway, we seem to be dodging about 50% of the time and im a master gunfighter.

Dodge seems to be working great in PVE, haven't check PVP though.

In PvE against an Imperial Major, I dodged 4 of his shots in a row. That is something that never happened before the patch. It did suck that my rate of return fire was slowed by the animation, but it was nice to avoid getting hit at 200 - 400 damage a pop.

The 4 in a row was the most noticable example, but it also happened several other times as well. Haven't tested it in PvP yet, but it seems like a nice PvE bonus at the very least.

If I recall Noules' theory on the defensive modifiers they basically gave a 1% chance to be missed for every +2. If that works for dodge as well then at +105 dodge perhaps we have a 52.5% chance to dodge now. That would be very interesting. I wonder if it takes dodge into account before or after it determines if you would have been hit. Hmmm.

D'oh, I should know where eyeshot is just so darn happy to actually dodge in PvP, I mean I wan't this happy when I finished doctor crafting and I HATE crafting I'm in such a good mood about the bone we were thrown I will not flame a single request for dual pistols for at least 3 days.

/begin rediculous requests.

I used this in PvP today. Succesfully dodged several shots from enemy players. I'm also a CM, so I used poison then starting blazing away with Fan Shot (using my new Republic Blaster) and tried to keep my distance as best I could. In the end, it was my ability to dodge incoming fire that kept me alive long enough for the poison to do it's work. So far I'm giving it a thumbs up.

I'm a Master Pistoleer andwas fighting some NPCs today and OH MY GOD Dodge works very well.

I only tried it while standing still, but at some points, I was basically doing a slow-motion Moonwalk as NPCs tried to gun me down - I dodged at least half their shots. Granted, I didn't test this thoroughly, but it seems to be working very well.

Something I noticed was that when I unequipped my pistol and started fighting as a TKA, I stopped dodging. Absolutely zero dodges were made while my VKs were equipped rather than my pistol. I'm thinking Dodge only applies if you're using a pistol. Is it supposed to be like that? I don't know.
