Yes, it works...in PVE !


Cause I tried it in PVP against a newborn character (some guy waiting for his server to be up) and here is the result :


500 shots (a bit more but won't really change anything)...and....2 dodges !


Wow, can't believe this. So in PVE, against FS NPC, I dodge quite well but against some newborn player, I don't ?


Frankly, does anyone know how dodge is supposed to work, cause I must admit I'm confused yet...

How much dodge do you have? I was testing it in duels vs. other master gunfighter, master sharpshooter, and a carbine BH and it seemed to work pretty good.

Hmm if dodge is at 105 now for the Master Pistoleer.. that may help.. but just think if the Master Pistoleer what also a Master Fencer. That would be +195 to Dodge.. now that might be enough to dodge like a mother.

i have 80 dodge .... it doesnt work .. not once ... ever .. vs anything .... and im a master tka also .. def acuity supposed to add anotehr 96 dodge ... doest work .. ever ... not once .. vs anything ..... ...

Defensive Acuity is not working, but Dodge is, for me anyways. I wonder if anyone else is having success with Dodge.

My frequency of dodging seems to have increased since the big patch (+105 Dodge).


I do not have a large set of data to conclusively state that dodge works well enough though.

Well from todays patch I can tell you that dodge does indeed work.. atleast in PvE.. Of course this all came about by a bug. I was Killed by dodge.


Pet was attacking mob.. then pet disappeared and disbanded.. I was alone I had not even taken one shot.. just sent pet to attack.. now mob turned on me.. So I started to run.. hit peace and then ran.. they were catching up so I hit burst run.. look behind me and they are gaining? yes gaining.. seems they can burst run now too.. but then when they get in range Im running fast as crap and suddenly I stop.. Side-step.. and burst run again.. stop.. side-step.. and try to run again,, before I get another 10 feet stop side-step.. I could not stop dodging.. and I got killed.. Ya think they could turn that sucker off when you hit burst run? I mean most of us use it to escape death anyway.. But developers love to see us die

I have tested this out with a couple different ppl and and yes dodge does work very well during pvp. I am shocked....

Dodge sample from 1 PvP battle, me ( master pistoleer/master doc) them BH/CH combo with at least bh pistol4( eyeshot hit me) and his pet rancor and the covert cm keepin him standing.(pistol4 at least as he wipped out the fwg when I started shootin him)

Start to finish exactly 2 minutes.

Hit me 56 times
Missed me 4 times
I evaded 6 shots
I DODGED 18 SHOTS!!!!!!
( numbers are low as he threw his rancor at me then hid, then I put the BH on his back with wip )

I noticed my dodge rate skyrocketed once I switched from hittin the BH to hittin the CM, at one point I dodged 5 attacks in 6 seconds from the BH. ( better dodge rate against non-targeted opponents ? )

This is a very small sample and most of my dodges were against the bh, but thats a whole lotta dodge. Might be a problem if we all see these kind of results. My sample shows %32 dodge, thats pretty high.
