I'm a Master Pistoleer andwas fighting some NPCs today and OH MY GOD Dodge works very well.

I only tried it while standing still, but at some points, I was basically doing a slow-motion Moonwalk as NPCs tried to gun me down - I dodged at least half their shots. Granted, I didn't test this thoroughly, but it seems to be working very well.

Something I noticed was that when I unequipped my pistol and started fighting as a TKA, I stopped dodging. Absolutely zero dodges were made while my VKs were equipped rather than my pistol. I'm thinking Dodge only applies if you're using a pistol. Is it supposed to be like that? I don't know.

If you are equipped with a pistol dodge will happen. If you are also carbineer and equipped with carbine, counterattack will happen. If you are TKA and grab the VKs, unarmed toughness kicks in. None of them stack but are associated with the weapons.

I think pistoleer dodge and fencer dodge can stack. As could any sort of general ranged or melee defense.

After further testing, I have strange results...

In pvp, against a very low lvl char, I almost never dodge (hits are for 10 to 20).

Against a MBH, I dodge 40% of the time...

Do you guys think DODGE have something to do with potentiel harm a hit can cause ? If not, really fail to see a logic in it...

That would be interesting if it's correct. It'd make sense because the animations and 'slow down' wouldn't be worth it for a minor hit but if you're really saving your behind it would.

I'll post some test results in a bit ... just responding to posts first.
