again. I don't care if pistoleers are better at pistols. they should be.

combat should not be all about pistols though and BHs need other tools to supplement (human traps, poisons, combat droid certifications etc)

and pistoleers ARE better at pistols...

the only thing BHs have is a scatter pistol and eyeshot...

the accuracy is only a bonus if I'm standing still, which against a TKA or Pistoleer is suicide because of melee KD...

the speed bonus argument is kinda silly because the speed caps at 1.0 anyways

Well Iebo I think you should just stop whining because a bunch of bounty hunters just came over here and took away all credibility you had so just leave.

Cant we just end this ok known facts the way KD is working is a bug this will get fixed styles in either class not working will be fixxed BH atm one day will be fixxed how about fixxing bugs fixing classes fixing stuff in general before we even consider PvP balance what is balance to a broken game when fixing it will disrupt its balance

Honestly, after 7 pages (maybe 8 after my post; who knows), I would rather be in game playing my character than complaining. Oh, here's an idea: instead of complaining about other professions, or complaining about the problems of your own profession (both on your own board and on ours; whether it's about balance, point costs or whatever other gripes you've made), why not use your corrospondent (yes, I know the issues of getting an answer from the devs turned slow now), and your own community and CONSTRUCTIVELY come up with ideas to help improve your profession. Oh wait, from what Dezz and Real seem to have stated, you've already alienated your own community, I reckon. (drips of severe sarcasm).

I read the ranger, scout, pistoleer, and to a degree dancer (as I have a near master dancer on another server) to find out what ideas I can contribute that may help, if the devs like it.

I read other boards just to see what they're like, but I don't post anything on them, because A). I don't know the profession(s), and B). I have no business posting on those boards, considering I do not know anything about them; let alone make complaints on those boards about why I don't like their profession. In fact I really don't have any beef with any professions out there, so I don't need to cite a complaint. In fact, I feel every profession has its purpose, and have grouped with numerous members, from medics, riflemen, commandos, bounty hunters and entertainers. That, my friend, is where the balance truly is.

Complimentary skills balance everything out, some skills (like the bounty hunter) have a major price to pay (i.e. skill points) than others. yes, only 92 points for Pistoleer, but I am only good in one weapon. When all the bugs come out of everything, maybe the skills you don't use (as you claim) might have a purpose.

I just posted here in this thread, simply because the title of it offended me and my chosen profession, and I felt I needed to respond to it. If you're offended by my language, cool..peachy...that's the intent. Just go off in a corner and leave our board alone, if you don't have anything to contribute constructively to the pistoleer profession.

I am an "Expert Bounty Hunter" (I have the BH Pistol line) and I'm almost a Master Pistoleer, and this guy is a moron if he thinks that the BH pistol line is less useful than the pistoleer tree. Aside from disarm2, which you get at master, and pistolwhip (which doesn't do much in PvP unless some moron is stupid enough to start a duel with you less than 7m away), none of the pistoleer specials are all that great.

Just ignore fools like this. I've been hearing a lot of this "nerf pistoleer" stuff from the BH crowd just because they're mad about the knockdown nerf and they want someone to blame.

Roowooka, i think i have seen you around also. I'm usually in coronet or tyrena alot. i do alot of travelling to different planets for my marks. if you are at all interested check out the scylla message boards. people are always getting groups together to do massive hunts, and its usually alot of fun. takes my mind off other things in the game. look me up in game and feel free to send a tell anytime.

Scyla on ur post on first page about bh should be most uber class:no. Bounty hunter SHOULD definatly be the most uber class. It requires a more dedicated player than any 2 classes combined. Im not saying that a novice bh or a xpert bounty hunter should be strongest class but a master bounty hunter should definatly be the most powerful class in the game because of the 250 hours of grinding the investigation line. This excludes jedi

and what exactly does investigation have to do with combat?

How are Pistoleers the uber class Iebo? We don't even have a weapon that could penetrate armor. Carbineers and Rifleman do. My friend is a carbineer, we have the same skill level except I'm in pistoleer. He kills targets before I usually even shoot.

If I didn't have all this experience with pistol I would have been a Carbineer, which are more powerful than a pistoleer IMHO.

ryche, most of this discussion is targeted at PvP issues. The pvp situation is quite different.
